We'd start as favourites against them IMO. And I don't think they're anywhere near as good as Barca or Bayern.
I want the toughest team left in the semis. I don't think I could handle another CL final loss. Especially not a smashing by a team like Bayern or Barca. We'd officially be the worst team ever in CL finals. So I want our players to prove themselves against Bayern or Barca in the semis, and get someone like PSG in the final.

Bale is a good player, but he's the kind of player that is more appreciated in England than he is or would be in Spain or Italy. Technically in terms of his close ball control, passing, and general technique he's lacking. But he's an effective player despite that, he's a very good finisher, he's extremely fast obviously, he plays on the shoulder of the last defender very well, his off the ball movement is quite good. In Italy and Spain where players are expected to be able to operate well in tight spaces, the kind of player that Bale is, he's not very appreciated IMO. There is no doubt at all that he's a very effective player though, even for Real, he scored quite a few goals last season, many of them important ones.

He'd also smash the Bayernliga something silly.

I don't think he's failed at Spain, nor do I think he'd fail in Italy. He might not be as successful as he was in the EPL, but I definitely think he'd be massively criticized and not very appreciated in the former two leagues.

As for the Bundesliga, I'm not a big follower, I mostly watch Bayern's games and from time to time Dortmund. I'm obviously not the best placed person to judge the league, but from what I've seen, the defending there is worse than any of the traditional top 3 leagues. High scoring matches, players who aren't that good scoring a lot of goals is a regular occurrence there.

It's a league that most people are neutral to though, so unlike the Serie A, La Liga and EPL who have their fair share of haters, its not criticized nor are its faults as highlighted as the traditional 3.

Real Madrid fans are a joke. Bale literally won them a couple of titles last season with extremely important goals.

He's IMO the perfect replacement for cristiano in the near future there.

He was overrated when Madrid bought him, but even if you look at him realistically he would be an immense player for us.
I used to slag a lot on him, but he's a good player. And I love shoving it in Real Madrid's faces when they fail to capitalize on quality due to their own infantile cry-babiness.

Madrid fans are just very demanding, What their fans are doing aren't pleasant, but IMO it is reasonable to be very demanding when you have a team that expensive. It is not reasonable however for Roma fans to be very demanding with their team. Because they are actually crap.

Ronaldo isn't going to be replaced that easily. Although Bale is an excellent player, I think he will never reach Ronaldo's level, and I certainly think that he was overpriced.

Don't be so harsh on Real Madrid, you're going to make them cry :D

Bale will be sold this or the next summer, if he leaves next summer they are going to cash in about 30-40 on him.

I'm pretty sure that Bale would be a success Serie A, just look at Gervinho, only Bale is probably faster, surely better equipped and has an end product, besides he's 25. If he's available for 40m, I'd do it, definitely worth that much.
