For a club of our stature, we should really be winning more CL. We have the worst record in for losses in the finals along side with Benfica.

But they weren't lost against teams weaker than them . Out of our 5 CL losses, we were the MUCH better team in 4 of them the only exception was Cruyff's Ajax. Even the two times we won the CL we were not lucky. in the 96 final we should have won byt three of four goals but ended up winning narrowly on penalties.
We really should have won against Milan, no doubt about that but that final is nothing compared to our losses in the 90s. In 1997 we were the best team in Europe BY FAR , reigning European champion and came into the final against the heavy underdogs BVB. Before the final it was believed that this would be the most one-sided CL final in history.In the match intself we dominated from beginning to end but conceded two goals from two corners in the space of five minutes in the first half and then Ricken scored 8 seconds after he came in by chipping Peruzzi. BVB had three shots on goal in total and scored three. 
In 1998 we played against Real Madrid and again we were the heavy favorites. most people predicted that we would win 3-0 or 3-1 but again , even though we were better on the night, we didn't play up to our standarts and lost to a solitary Miajtovic goal. Mijatovic actually was MILES offside.

Yea, but this is like my saying Bayern should have won the other two finals we lost. One maybe, the other definitely. The point is, that's why they play the game. Luck really doesn't exist, it's created to talk about the percentage of chance you perceive you do or do not have.
The fact is, Juve were not unlucky, neither were Bayern, we just simply did not take our chances, similarly to Juve on that day.
