No.
13 games against top clubs < 38 games against top clubs, mid-table club, bottom clubs, it's pretty obvious.

even against only Siena, Palermo, Pescara etc.
If you are Juve, you are the best team in Serie A by a fair margin.

You are not one of the three best teams in Europe, I think it would be fair to say.

Are you telling me that it's harder for Juve to win Serie A than the CL?

Let's move it to a team who are the best team in Europe as well as in their own league.

The best team in a league almost invariably wins it.

Looking back through the CL, I'd say the best team has won the competition less than half the time relatively recently.

Why is that?

If the CL is easier to win, why doesn't the best team win it more often?

Because of the cup system! Away goal rule, for example. Even Chelsea managed to win it while they were only 6th team in England, plus Milan, Liverpool etc. And if you look deeper, you will found out that since group stage round was introduced there more than 50% of the winners of CL has made a double - league title + cl

I still don't see how that equates to it being easier.

You can, to some extent, win a CL by getting lucky, which isn't really possible in a league (no matter what Milan say about the 'gol di Muntari'), though, because of the quick-fire format.

That doesn't mecessarily mean much.

Covers a freak winner like Porto and a winner like Barca in 2008/09, who were undoubtedly the best team in Europe.

Chelsea came back from 3-1 against Napoli
And you don't have to make a comebacks in the league, you just need to collect more points than any other teams, you can't be lucky in 38 games, but you can in some games in the play-off system and it will be enough for you to win the trophy:
1/8 home 0-0 away 1-1
1/4 home 0-0 away 1-1
1/2 home 0-0 away 1-1
final 0-0 (5-4 on penalties)
and trophy is yours

Barcelona, Bayern or Celtic, don't look at the opponents, look at the system, it's not that hard
