It's easier to win cup than league, it's pretty obvious
CL or any other cup it's like sprint and any league tournament it's like marathon
But it's a sprint where you need to beat 7 of the best Jamaican and American runners, while the marathon is against 1 or 2 Kenyans and 17-18 fat guys.
Neither is a temporary dip in form. You have practically no time to make up for a bad night in the CL.

Depends on the draw.

If you had to beat Barca, Real and Bayern to win the CL, it's going to be harder than winning the league.

You can argue it either way.

You need fewer good performances to win a cup, but you can also afford fewer bad performances.
What's harder - to play 38 times against Palermo level teams or 2 games against bayern, real, barcelona and 1 final against manchester?

Would be quite easy to finish ahead of Palermo in a two-team league.

No.
13 games against top clubs < 38 games against top clubs, mid-table club, bottom clubs, it's pretty obvious.

even against only Siena, Palermo, Pescara etc.
While it's true there are many great teams, not all teams in CL are fantastic.

But if you're a top team, there's a few rivals who would compete for the title.

Being consistent favors the best equipped squad in the long run.

So what? It's not about teams, if there will be no Barcelona, Real, Bayern in the next CL you will say that now it's easier to win it for Juventus, isn't it?? But you should look deeper - don't look at the names, look at the system
