Getting Madrid would be cool actually! If we manage to knock them out in a convincing manner, we'll make Europe quiver in fear.
I don't see how that would be an advantage for us going into the quarterfinals if we do manage that. I don't want to beat a big team in round of 16 and then go out in the quarterfinals, win or lose I would much rather play them later in the tournament.

Eeeaaassssyy win for Juve.
We're always living it up against them, we would give them a hell of a match for sure.
Lets look at the game our possible opponents have the weekend before the knockouts.
I dont fear a tired real.

From a neutral perspective I want to see the most competitive match ups possible. And out of all the possibilities in the round of 16, Juve - Real is the best.

I think it would be a good round of footie. Way better than the silly Big Team v. Little Team match ups we've been getting lately.

Nothing wrong with those

if all the silly little teams get knocked out in the first knockout round, its only big teams vs big teams from there on, as it should be.

big teams eliminating big teams, ends up with one of the finalists to usually have an excessive more easy path then the other *cough 2003 cough*

I have stopped wishing who we get since we played Arsenal. Juve always seem to struggle against the smaller fry but I agree with what only-juve said. I would prefer a low profile affair in the r16 and once quarters hit, well no more small fry and the psg barca manure those newby c*nts malaga come into play and we just steam roll em.

We would keep being low profile, even if we beat say Arsenal in my opinion; they are not rated highly and we still won't be seen as contenders for sure, if we eliminate them.

And then he woke up
Bastard

I think, as things stand, we shouldn't worry about facing any English opposition. I'd only be slightly concerned if we came up against Barca, and to a lesser extent Madrid and Bayern. Since I purposefully avoided all those teams in my hypothetical scenario, I firmly believe if my predictions were to materialize we could make it to the final :)
