What gives you the right to judge what does or doesn't harm someone (in particular) or some group.

Praying in the middle of a football pitch harms (or offends or whatever you want to call it) some people.
Wearing the mentioned t shirt does the same, albeit to a different group of people.
Now, which side is right. Or which side should respect the other?

Never mind though, I already explained my point yesterday.
At one point River Plate were sponsored by Budweiser. Should they ditch their sponsor if...say they played a friendly in Jeddah? That can "offend" people.

I just wanted to see how far you were willing to go :D

I could care less.
:D

I just got involved in the whole argument because our illustrious JBF failed to see both sides of the story. Which, when asking for "respect" for someone or a certain group of people, is rather annoying.

Or funny, depending on how you look at it :D

Inter got in trouble for wearing their away strip with the red cross in Turkey if I remember correctly, they were accused of supporting the crusades.

I had a bet that Messi will surpass Raul in the CL all-time topscorer list :D
It's only CL knock-outs and group stages (not Super cups, not Uefa and not CL qualifiers). You think I stand a chance?

1. Raul 68
2. Ruud van Nistelrooij 56
3. Thierry Henry 50
4. Filippo Inzaghi 46
5. Andrii Shevchenko 46
6. Alessandro Del Piero 41
7. Fernando Morientes 33
8. Didier Drogba 32
9. Lionel Messi 30

As long as Raul doesn't reach 75 or so, I'd think you're safe enough with that bet.

    What odds did you get?

No odds, it's a bet with my brother. We still have an ongoing Raul vs Pippo bet for all time topscorer in Europe, but the stupid rat's injury destroyed all my chances.

I hope you don't mind, Fred, but I have very little interest in continuing this discussion. We can go back & forth about this for weeks, we won't get anywhere. Certain actions are offensive to certain groups (of) people. Certain other actions are offensive to certain other groups of people. Don't know why this is so difficult to understand...

Personally I'm not easily offended anyway: praying in front of me is ok, drawing an offensive cartoon is ok, ...
And I'd like to think that I at least try to respect different points of view. I'm also not the one who goes shouting about "respecting my beliefs & choices" while not giving a damn about other people's beliefs & choices.

Besides, I don't think I suggested he shouldn't pray, I merely think it would be a better idea for him to do it in private.

Simone Inzaghi 15 goals! The guy sucked

I remember once he scored 4 or 5 goals in one CL game, due to couple of red cards I think. when did he score the rest?...

Edit: Just checked his stats - He has played 87 matches in Serie A and scored 8 goal  , yet he has 15 alone in CL.
