what you fail to understand is the religious intolerances of these bigoted morons on both sides of the divide, there has been over 125 years of Old Firm fans defining themselves by their religious beliefs and stoking the hatred between catholics and protestants. THIS by the way,is the real reason for Rangers and Celtics success, the troubles in Northern Ireland brought it to the surface even more and lit the torch paper underneath it,Glawegians never needed a reason to go around stabbing each other but now they had a reason to excuse their behaviour.
what you have to understand is that Rangers fans don't have a problem with Catholics praying...they have a problem with catholics living!
I actually knew 99% of all that but thanks for the extra info anyway
I would wear the T-shirt in every game, regardless of who I was playing, to demonstrate my love for freedom of expression and my dislike of all religion.
Should I change what I always do because it may cause offence to some intolerant people and it may lead to public disorder?
You really think that's the reason that should prevent you from doing such an act, public disorder and offence? How about being tolerant yourself and actually respecting other people's beliefs. I for one have no problem with publicizing those drawings myself I actually pitty the "artist" who drew them in the first place because IMO he did that for getting attention and sadly he got what he asked for. But I've a problem with the image itself that he tried to spread and that is picturing prophet Mohammad as a mindless terrorist who's responsible one way or another for Al-Qaeda and other terrorist group's actions while he's in fact far from it.
Again back on topic, I've a problem with the current situation of Hernadez for a simple reason that what he's doing shouldn't be disrespectful for others and it really isn't unless you're small minded intolerant person, and that is a problem such a person simply has to overcome. This is like asking a black player to paint himself white cause the home crowd are a bunch of racist pricks who would have a problem with him simply being there.
How do you know it's not harmful to anyone in the stadium? They get annoyed, right? It just means that seeing someone doing Catholic prayers in the middle of the pitch is psychologically (or whatever you name it) harming them. Now, to me, it's stupid to be offended by someone doing his prayers on the pitch as it is stupid to if someone gets offended by seeing cartoons of their religion's prophet. To me, being offended by those things is silly either way. But to you, it is not. I think you should be the last one talking about those retards' intolerance.
Why should I? And how the hell did you get the picture that I find those pictures offensive? Did I ever tell you my opinion about them or did you simply generalize that simply because Im a muslim I've got to be filled with anger and bomb myself on the instinctive once I have a look at those.
Refrain to what I replied to red about my opinion on that if you care that much about what my opinion really is in the first place.
Oh and I've stressed on the fact that as long as the action that player is taking isn't harmful from a
physical point of view then he should do it but apparently you didn't take much notice did you.
