Thank you Ciro.
I like that lineup, but I think that Giovinco had his chances, he has given many chances but he has not been good enought to start IMO, really sad because he is a player I like very much. IF Delpiero is ready I would start him. If not then Giovinco could start, but it's time that he steps up. I woulden't mind to see Marchisio but he is just back from injury so maby he can get some playing time in the 2nd half.

The Melo and Momo partnership in the Sampdoria game was bliss. I'd rather see that. We need somebody next to Momo who can pass and that is Melo more than Poulsen.

Good formation but I would like to stick Claudio in there for either Melo or Gio. Both have had questionable form recently and we should find a spot for a now fit Claudio in the 4-2-3-1. Of course this all depends upon if he is fit to start or not but his excellent early season form should not go ignored

Marchisio cannot play behind the forwards in my opinion. I certainly would not drop a player like Gio who excels in this formation to accomodate Marcihsio.

100 % with you on that one. I just figured he wouldnt be 100% fit to start a crucial champions league game. But if he was I would replace Melo for him.

Marchisio is versatile midfielder and he played fine on the wing in a 4-4-2. It would be a new position for him and he brings different attributes than Gio but it is worth trying. He could also play next to one of Momo or Melo if necessary.

And tbh I wouldn't say Gio has excelled in this formation. He was superb against Sampdoria and Maccabi but in several other matches with the 4-2-3-1 he was unimpressive
