I just pray we don't throw away the amazing work we done in establishing ourselves as a European powerhouse by going to Spain with defending in mind. 3 goals is not a big cushion if you're playing 90 minutes of attack vs defence with a front line worth about half a billion pounds. It only takes seconds to score.

This is about more than just getting to the CL semi's. This is about K.O'ing Barca and being a big deal on the international stage with all the positives that comes with that, vs being laughed at and put back into the same bracket as PSG, a bracket we only just escaped.

Our appeal will be much larger if we can get past this. Let's not try parking the bus against the best attack in history. Get 1 goal by half time without shipping more than 1. Game over.
Well put. Thankfully, if we were to listen what Allegri and our players have been saying after the first leg, we're not going there to park a bus.
Obviously it's Barcelona so they can overturn the result from Turin but PSG could have scored more than one goal if they weren't so wasteful with their 1v1 situations. I think we're a better team than the French and our attitude should also be more accurate making it even harder for Barcelona to come back. Considering how shitty at the back they have been this season, the fact that they need to attack from the first minute leaving us a lot of space, and our world class forwards ready to take the advantage from that fact, I cannot see Juventus being eliminated on Wednesday.

This will be the biggest humiliation if we get ourselves knocked out. I might give up on football. All the lost finals, Serie B, game vs Perudja and so on will be much less painful than losing to a team that defends worse than Zeman's Pescara. Fuсk that...

This will probably be the toughest match we play in the Agnelli era. 90 minutes in Camp Nou is a very tough stadium to go to and get a result.

Hopefully the team keeps it simple and doesn't try to over think things in defence like Bonucci did in J stadium because we really have to keep our composure.

It pretty much all falls down to how Allegri sets the team up, i'm hoping we don't park the bus and defend for 90 minutes because that's just playing to Barca's strengths and not exposing their weakness with their average midfield and terrible defence.
No ,the 2015 final was toughest .And we lose that. Now we we will win. What is this pessimism ?We are cruising this posers.Absolutely.It's 3-0 .End of story.

Juve will score at least one goal if Allegri does not choose to defend the whole time.
That's the only thing i fear to be fair. That we will go out there playing some 3-5-2 with only defending in mind, which will result in similar 'show' as first half vs Bayern at our stadium. :scared:

I was just expecting that someone will react in this manner. No,again,no, I am not imitating $#@!ing merda and Bilan,Napoli,Roma fans about referees.I am only quoting that particular referee decision on Pogba. And that was a penalty in my opinion. And my modest opinion is that Cakir is not a top level referee. Not a single letter more than that.If he officiate correctly I will be first to point that.
Also I am sure that we will eliminate them .Not a single second doubt.Mickey mouse coach and a bad mixture of stars and loosers in their team.
I said that was a penalty as well. But the referee was NOT set up to help Barca, that's all.

We'll definitely eliminate them of course. I don't see us even losing the game tbh.

Gotta go with 4-2-3-1 again, full pressure on Barca from minute 1. I want at least 30 minutes of nothing but running and hustle, and then the last 15 minutes can be breaking up play, drawing fouls, and making life as difficult to Barca while retreating a bit. In a perfect scenario we score on a surprise counter and force Barca to switch up more attackers in a desperate attempt to score. That's a recipe for disaster when we have Dybala, Cuadrado, Pjanic, Alex Sandro and Alves getting ready to feed Higgy who has been one hungry hippo lately. If we go in with the intention to defend, we lose by many many goals. If we go with the intent of scoring, we might lose, but definitely not by a 3 goal margin. PSG went in with the intention to defend, and were their own worst enemy by doing so.

Nightmare scenario is they score withing 5 minutes, gain confidence, and start pouring while Bonucci and Chiellini perform erratic fouls in the box on diving Suarez and Neymar and Higgy chokes on our one lonesome chance.
 We must absolutely avoid getting pinned back in the first 15 minutes. Conceding in that period is the worst thing that can happen. Us losing our composure and Barca getting emboldened.
If we have the determination, the will to prove ourselves and the belief in our strengths, we definitely can manage this game.
