do you even read other messages. that gonga said inform ibra is better than all our other strikers. we are talking about strikers here, not just as a player. he might have some dribling tehnique and ball holding, but is he scorer? no his not. and thats why i dont agree that inform zlatan is better than our other strikers. still thinking his better striker than trezeguet? heck even bench boy zalayeta scored last season in cl, but he didnt.
sorry
u r right
i know that zlatan-del piero-sheva............ is a category of players
and trez-crespo-ruud........... is another category
but i didnt want to say that if he's in form he will be better than del piero to prevent the daily debate.

Mate, that's Patrick Vieira for you. He plays when he feels like it. The reasons you have just mentioned are the reason we sold his ass off to Juve. He thinks he only has to turn up and plays on 2nd gear half the time. Is it motivational problem or is knackered and running out of gas? He apparently has one leg shorter than the other and that is supposed to affect his running posture and subsequently shorten his career. Wenger sold him basically he was a lame duck.
now that's a disgrace, after all what he did for us. You started to follow Arsenal when Cesc joined?!

YOu guys are so pessimistic about this game i don't see a lot of ppl saying were gonna flog arsenal but rather they are gonna shred us. I personally believe this will be a very tough game and that arsenal are very quick and are a very attacking side which i personnaly believe we don't play well at all against attacking teams. But i am 100% behind this juve that i adore and believe we can go on no matter the task at hand and God willing bring this CL home!

Zlatan is in the:

Bergkamp, Zola, Zidane role.

Very skilfull, very creative, great technique, but not a natural goalscorer.

Goalscorers are:

Henry, Ruud, Shevchenko, Ronaldo (of old)

any reason you forgot trezeguet :D :p

and i disagree about zlatan here also. zidane and zola played more in the midfield, and when they had their chanses they always scored. imo zola is still the best ever player Chelsea has had. pitty NT didnt call italian players who played in other leagues. zidane also knew how to finish. Bergkamp, well i havent watched bergkamp much, but in england he played well, with inter he s-cked, so player who couldnt do well in seria a but did well in epl and he did score some good goals in national tournaments also.

maby ibra also fits england play more :eyebrows: but still all those guys who you mentioned in your post have better finishing, all.

i am also starting to think that although some say the best of ibra is still coming, that wont happen with juve. and when we sell him to chelsea or real he starts scoring, but thats because his playing in other league, moustly. so i would not regret. players are differant and not for everyone, all leagues suit.

this is not fair:

inter, juve and milan all have saturday seria a game, but our CL game is on tuesday but both milan clubs game is on wednesday :(

that means they have one more day to rest. :(

Telling Vieira Was Tough – Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits it was difficult telling Patrick Vieira he was no longer wanted at Highbury.
The Frenchman was sold to Juventus in July and will come face-to-face with the Gunners in the Champions League next week.

“It is always difficult to tell a player he is no longer wanted when you have been in battle together and given everything together,” Wenger told L’Equipe.

"It is warrior-like language but it is like that. Separating from a player, it is telling him he is no longer strong enough. He often feels it is a betrayal. No player understands when he is no longer strong enough. When I was a player-manager at the age of 32, I said to one of my directors: 'The day you think I am too old, come and tell me straight after the match'.

"One day, when I was 32 and a half, he said to me: 'Arsene you are too old'.

"I never played again because I trusted his judgement. You cannot fool yourself that you can judge yourself.

"I have learned to tell my players in the most frank way possible, even if they don't accept it.

"Some refuse to accept my judgement, but they accept the verdict because they know the level of honesty of their coach."
