So next season Milan will surely have the best defence in the world!!!
Too bad they will have to pay a second ambulance for the stadium

i think a player we can target is senderos, ive seen him play quite a bit, although hes young i think hes a bit to weak. drogba exposed this twice this season and hopefully trez and zlatan can do the same.
I dont know why everyone goes on about that Drogba incident..i mean the lad is only young and that was right at the start of the season! Drogba got lucky and everyone knows it..the ball went in off Drogba's calf or something..players like that get luck sometimes and that day was Drogbas lucky day. Senderos was perhaps our best player for the 2 half of last season and this season he has been excellent. He's still learniing undoubtedly but he is growing and strengthening with each passing match. Whatsmore i doubt very much that Juve are a better attacking team than Madrid. I know people will have a pop at madrid but Juve despite ther array of Worldclass attacking players re: DP, Trez-Gol, Mutu, Nedved, Ibra and camo are a defensive team. If they try and defend against us at Highbury it will be suicide for them..we will score at least 2. Even if they get 1 we will still score in Turin..mark my words..:agree:

You're absolutely right. It happened to us at Anfield last year and against Bremen this season. We can't afford to sit back and defend, we need to approach the game positively. Unfortunately I don't see Capello doing that. The idiot will probably start Ibrahimovic ahead of Del Piero and hope for a draw.

Arsenal fan here.

It's strange, the way arsenal and Juve fans are talking you would think we were first in the league and you were fifth in serie A.

I've never really understood how Juve seem to win the league every year in Serie A. They've obviously got good players and play within a rigid framework, but even so I watch your games and am always left distinctly unimpressed. You did play well at the start of the season but you seem to have tailed off recently. I guess it's your conistency and discipline that kills teams. Two legs work for you in that regard. I also give you respect for beating Munich in Germany last season. No mean feat.

This game is 50-50. Arsenal tend to play in explosive 5-8 minute bursts where we play like a cyclone, with everyone piling forward. We are actually better at this game then we've ever been at the moment as Hleb is like scud missile when he runs with the ball. Fabregas is also far more intelligent than Vieira on the ball and this helps us attack at great speed but with Fabregas adding composure to the mix.

If Juventus can ride out this series of mini-storms at highbury should go through as you have players like Trezeguet who will prey on Senderos's blunders. Our defence is playing well at the moment but I'm telling Senderos or Campbell will be the weak link and could win the tie for you guys.

One guy I am not worried about at all is Vieira. I don't know how you guys rate him but I personally am glad he is gone. He was constantly slowing down our play in recent years and because he is such a influential player he almost suffocated our midfield. I pinpointed Vieira as the main reason we never won the champions league. He's a good player obviously, but what is he? A defensive midfielder, an attacking midfielder? He is a jack of all trades but a master of none in my opinion. He and Emerson are an uninspiring combination for me.

I really think Arsenal have the ability to cut Juve to pieces at highbury and even end the tie in the first leg, but if the scores are level at the Dello Apie then only one team will go through- Juventus. Your experience will ground us down.

.

Quite right that if Juve can cope with the massive wave of arsenal attacks,Juve have a great chance of quakification.

The fact that arsenal have never won the CL is down to ur squads inability to perform in europe & nevermind that they tend to choke in european ties.advantage to arsenal is, is that arsenal are in 5th place, out of the fa cup & out of the running of the premiership & winning the CL is a big morale boost.winning the CL would save arsenal's disasterous season.

u seem to be a bit bitter about PV leaving arsenal.on their day, they are mos def the best midfield pair in the world.

Not bitter at all about Vieira leaving. Like I said, I was ecstatic when he left as that meant Fabregas getting a first team spot.

Vieira and Emerson are a very good pairing, don't get me wrong. But Emerson is quite similar to Gilberto Silva and Silva and Vieira never played well together. Both tended to play in parallel lines and they were too similar to compiment eachother effectively. They may get away with against medicore italian sides but against Arsenal I can't see Emerson or Vieira hurting us at all. Vieira goes into his shell for the big games and is tactically very poor. I should know after watching him for nine years at Arsenal.
