As if italian football is a mystery. Any great coach from abroad can do a pretty decent job in serie A nowadays.

As for Erikson i don't like the way he's teams play (Dull, one dimentional football). Bit similar to Ranieri but with a better CV, no thanks......

well how many realistic choices do we have available ?

As much as I hate being out of the Champions League and as much as it sucked watching the match last Tuesday, I feel that us fans, me included, tend to be very premature in our judgements. The season isn't over yet. Yes, we've had abysmal European campaign and have been shit in a lot of games, but let's make judgements at the end of the season when we have tangible things to judge Ciro on. You cannot judge the performance of a season when half of it is not even over.

This is an inexperienced coach and the season can still be salvaged (whether I believe it or not is another story). If by a stretch of the imagination we win the Scudetto, and say the Coppa, the season would not be remembered for the shitty performances but for the titles won.

Ciro is inexperienced. The club gambled in summer. It's only fair to give him at least one season. One season is the bare minimum for a level headed judgement. For God's sake we have how many new players? We have a new coach for the team who is also a new coach in general, new tactical formations etc. Whoever thinks things just happen overnight is living in dream land.

The point is, nobody remembers the shitty performances and the defeats if one ends up achieving something. Take 2003. We reached CL final, but how often do we sit and remember the 3 - 0 defeat to Man Utd? We rightly remember the Madrid game.

Disclaimer: To those who have a hard time understanding what is written. This is not a blinded Ciro defence, it's just a call for objective and clear-headed thinking. Shit happens. Let's judge the season when it's over.

It's not about money. Sacking two coaches in a row would be really awful.

Let him complete this season and don't renew his contract.

The first thing I said after the disaster was that Ciro needs to be sacked. But now that I've come back to my senses, I think the best way forward is to let him be until the summer. We are technically in three competitions and I don't expect us to win any. What we do need is a guarantee of a CL spot next season. Unless there is a threat to that (which at the moment seems unlikely) we can keep Ciro at the helm for a few more months. He might actually improve (a big might) and we might become a solid team (not great, but solid).

Juande Ramos as a replacement? Could give him the exact same deal until the end of the season that Real Madrid did at this time last year. Surely an improvement over Ciro?
Please leave the patch working to Real Madrid.

Ciro should stay until the end of the season, there is no point in changing coachs now, we need to find a long term coach who can have a true saying in how the club should evolve and form.
In my opinion the best thing the club can do is to not renew Ciro contract and sack Secco after this season and get a good proven italian coach (and by that I mean Prandelli) and a new technical director (Marotta, Marino ..) and lets those two build a something new cause we need a fresh look, as it seems that everyone outside knows whats worng with us but not the actual guys that work here.

The other option imo is to get a top coach from abroad ( and by that I mean Hiddink, the only Italian option here is Lippi) and let him run the show as a manager, without a traditional Italian technical director,
It will be a brave new world here in Juve, A coach that will actually pick his own players and will build his own team.

    Maddness I say.
