:sergio: Cyrus.. I remember last year when I was pissed cuz Ranieri played with 6 defensive players on the pitch(back 4 and 2 defensive midfielders) and only 4 going up but Cyrus is worse, he was actually playing with 8(!!!!!!!) defensive players today.

I don't even like watching us play or do anything these days, Cyrus just sucked the fun right out of it...
nice i never made the connection between ciro and cyrus :D thanks

Ferrara: 'I was never worried'

Ciro Ferrara breathes a sigh of relief with today's victory, but insists he was “not worried” at the prospect of the axe.

Juventus seemed ready to bring in Guus Hiddink if there was another defeat at the Stadio Tardini and an own goal sealed their 2-1 win.

“Anyone who works as a Coach is never sure of keeping their job. The victory was important, but I was not worried by the possibility of being fired. I just wanted to resolve our problems.

“Today Juve put in a performance of real character, taking the lead straight away in a balanced encounter. Parma found the equaliser, but we were very concentrated and strong on set plays.

“It was normal that Parma put us under pressure, as they are a strong side and we were reduced to 10 men.”

Ferrara made changes to his side, fielding a 4-4-2 system with Diego supporting David Trezeguet.

“We'll see whether we play like this again. We wanted to keep Diego nearer to the goal and he did create some dangers.

“It was great to have Giorgio Chiellini back, as he is a leader on the pitch and a real champion.”

Juventus have consolidated third place and currently lie in second, though Milan have two games in hand.

“At the start of the season our declared objective was to fight for the Scudetto, but at this moment there are many points between us and Inter.

“We must be able to focus on our own path without thinking about what Inter and Milan do. We've lost a lot of ground due to some defeats in December, though perhaps the Christmas break served to calm everyone down.”

Ferrara: I am an idiot and a clueless coach. Please forgive me for my failings, incompetencies, and shortcomings, which include being gutless, having no balls, and oh, did I mention clueless?!
