So if someone offered you a job you really wanted with a salary much better than your previous job, you would turn it down?
If I had a long term perspective, I would work my way to the job until I'm properly qualified.
It's not simply about salary, you have to be realistic about your future.

Sure, he doesnt appear to be the best manager ever, but to compare him to fuckwits like Maradona etc is just ridiculous. Ok for every Catania, Cagliari and Bari we have lost against we;ve beaten an Inter, Roma and Lazio (and possibly Milan this weekend). How is that any different to Ranieri?
Sure our style of play has been pretty dire for the past 5-6 weeks, but Im pretty sure we have went through rough patches with previous coaches in previous eras. This is a rookier manager in his FIRST COACHING JOB ffs.
Today the performance didnt matter, what we needed was a win, doesnt matter how we got it just as long as the 3 points came home, and we did it.

He may not be the perfect coach out there to fix all these problems in the team but the main thing everyone has to understand is that these problems will not go away quickly. Thats what people want, quick answers but that would not happen even if the wizard Hiddink is brought in.
This team has taken a lot knocks on the teeth lately and it takes its toll. We won't be playing wonderful football in the coming weeks but the main thing is to get the results and the belief.
I saw some good things from him today (while having reasonable expectations). Putting Melo to mark out Dzemaili was a very good move, starting with sali, and the aggression shown at the end (i think he was shouting at Melo to clear the ball better and that fired him up).
Look, we probably won't win anything this year. But this guy was brought in without any experience, and put with the task to maintain this team's identity and integrate a lot of players in while winning. He needs to improve there is no question about it but we need to have some patience as well.

I loved you as a club legend, but I hate you as a coach. Please show some dignity, pride, and respect for the club that adored you for so many years. Don't tarnish and destroy your image any further. Please resign as you are not up to the task of guiding this Juve team. You are unqualified and too inexperienced to make a positive impact. Please hand over the reins to someone capable and accomplished.
I hope the Parma game is a sign that Ferrara recognised he tried to build this team the wrong way.

Today it looked like the focus was back on defence and the defence, for the most part was pretty organised (We were never stretched and Parma only scored due to Legrottaglie getting beaten in the air), whereas the defence was constantly exposed in previous games.
It may be old fashioned to say that good teams start with a solid defence, but I believe it to be true, so hopefully Ferrara will focus on sorting the defence before moving on to then figuring out how to get the most out of Diego and get this team scoring some goals.
