Release clause?

I know some people here don't like him for unknown reasons really, but is there any chance we can get Prandelli next season?

Judging from the long rivalry between Juve and Viola, it'd be very difficult to sign him up.

I know FIGC wants him to be the national team manager. I don't know how interested in that position he'd be.
I don't think Prandelli will come though. He actually has a good project going on there.. Not the kind of stupid "project" we got going on but a good and serious project and he's adored by the Viola fans. And tbh, we're not the same Juve as we were before where basically every Italian would leave any team for us. Juventus used to be the most prestigious team and a proof of success for every Italian. If you were involved in Juve then you had made it to the top but these days we offer the job to newbies and our management basically sucks.

It's extremely speculative to say that someone like Conte will be better than Ferrara and play more offensively.
Just watch some of his Bari and even Atalanta games.
Can't afford how much though? Good coach gets a lot, but it's worth it.

Conte can't add anything. His old style with 4-2-4 worked only with Bari and Serie B. If he came here he wouldn't offer anything good. We'd see old or this Juve. Hiring old Juve players/legends is not an answer. Ciro already lost some respect for some people, it's not needed. They should take some role in club if anything. I hope Nedved is not going to follow them.

We should stop looking for average coaches I mean, we need someone with experience and someone who can controls and get us out of this mess.
So now you have an "Old players becoming coaches" phobia huh :p

I don't know why Im defending the guy eventhough there's no possibility for him to coach our team now that he already coached a team in Serie A but I'll keep on doing it :D

I don't think Conte will be a gamble as he proved his style of play at two clubs where he completely shuffled things up. As in Bari he changed their style of play form 4-5-1 to 4-4-2 (or so I've read) and thus the team not only started to gain points but actually perform. And he won many fans at Bari because of that.

While at Atalanta Conte did a fair job IMO as even the club's management refused his resignation and opted to continue with him but the fans gave him hard time.

You do realize that when he was with Bari he was in Serie B right? Big difference, you can get away with playing such risky formations down there because the level isn't as high.

Our defense is the weakest part of our team. Anyone who watches us knows this. It's blatantly obvious. If we don't compensate for this weakness and go out there pushing everyone forward then we will get raped on the counter attack. Thus, part of the reason we usually field 2 DM's is due to our defensive deficiency.

I've seen Conte on the Atalanta bench and he doesn't impress me.

Do you remember when it was between Ferrara and Conte in the summer to see who would get the job? It basically comes back to that. We already have an inexperienced manager why would we get rid of one to replace him with the same thing? At this point if we are going to relieve Ciro it should be with someone proven, not Antonio Conte.

Im not saying we've to get Conte, All Im saying is that if we're not able to get someone of Hiddnik's calliber then Conter would be fine in my books to replace Ciro.
In other words, I'd rather have Conte than sticking with Ciro. But as I also said earlier its Impossible as he coached this season in Serie A so he can't coach again in it till the next season.

And Ferrara already beat Conte if we can judge from the result Atalanta - Juve 2:5.. I don't think Conte will do better job than Ferrara at this point of time. We need more experienced coach..

I don't think he will come neither :depressed

IMO, Prandelli is the right man for Juve. As I stated before, he has a great tactical mind in both on and off the pitch matters. Plus, after all his success in Florence, he has the needed hunger for winning big trophies not mentioning he has a wonderful past with us.

Ciro proved, yet again, that he is inept, presently, at excelling, let alone showing competency, as our manager, or any team's manager when after the winter break, he opted to field a player on the wing, whose best form of his career has come VERY VERY OBVIOUSLY when deployed centrally.

If we had NOBODY who could perform the role of left winger, in a 4-4-1-1, then OK, i can understand, putting someone there who will at least provide something, anything...but we DO HAVE A LEFT WINGER...Giovinco. Who WAS fit and raring to go.

This is as simple as 'Pick a player who can play in that Position'...and when a manager isnt even capable of making the most basic of obvious choices, he is not only useless, but dangerous.

I am hopeful, that the reason why we are letting players go, but not yet replacing them in the squad, is that we are waiting for Guus, or someone else. I really have little demand for anyone but A MANAGER. Which Ciro clearly is not. Its of course premature to say he will always be useless, but presently he IS. And its the present that I am concerned with, and the first half of the season, during which, we played, more often than not, with less passion, less organization, less spirit, than even under Ranieri.

Ranieri was sacked for precisely the kind of form, which Ciro has engineer over 5 months, now stretching into 6. Claudio made us listless for a few games, not 5 months of games.

Our win over parma was fortuitous, to say the least. We showed the same lack of everything...

How long must this go on??? Surely Bettega can see this, even if Blanc and Secco, seem to feel that Things are going fine and dandy. They are NOT. We are a shambles of a team. which is okay for Lecce, but not Juve.

There is nothing disrespectful about saying SACK CIRO...when he has done nothing but make our team worse than I have ever seen it play.

What do you think about Prandelli, Weedguru? Do you think he's more appropriate next season for us than Guus, in case we stuck with Ciro till the end of the season?

Your opinion regarding this matter is appreciated.

If we managed to get Guus for 6 months it would be a great deal. This guy often does wonders on a short term contracts, while what he does on the long term is yet to be seen.

So if we could get him till the rest of this season and then manage to get Prandelli.
That would be something

I don't think changing coaches so often is a wise idea. If we do get Guus now, I wish we offer him a 2.5 years contract and just let him work for our future.

I was calling for Prandelli to be appointed since we got rid of Ranieri. If we do stick with Ferrara till the end of the season, though, I'm hoping we go for Prandelli over Guus and give him a 3 years contract. Unless, Ciro does miracles in the next 5 months :shifty:

In which he won the league twice and the cup....

Maybe he'll do great even on the long scale, but still I don't expect we'll have him.
PSV 1986-1990:

Eredivisie
Winner (3): 1986–87, 1987–88, 1988–89
KNVB Cup
Winner (3): 1988, 1989, 1990
European Cup
Winner (1): 1988

PSV 2002-2006:

Eredivisie
Winner (3): 2002–03, 2004–05, 2005–06
KNVB Cup
Winner (1): 2005

Impressive record with PSV. He failed to deliver in 3 years at Valencia and didn't do well in 'short' periods with R. Madrid and R. Betis.
