Some of you are incredible. I've been avoiding this thread for some-time now because it's pretty predictable how things will go here after each time we loose.

Some of you are welling to change Ciro Ferrara with Mancini or Zeman or even Donadoni. Like Boz said, it's exactly what Inter fans were doing few years ago before Calciopoli. Things will go even worse, when you change a coach with a mediocre coach or an average one.

Either you bring the best option you have there(that's in-case you have one) or stick with what you got till you find a solution. But to ask for averages coaches or just anyone to replace Ciro is pure Inter Milan thing.

This Article although most probably a complete lie details the solution:

Tuttosport
:sergio: understands Bettega will help Alessio Secco, the club's much-criticised director of sport, in the January transfer market while also lending Ferrara an experienced hand on the training pitch.

Even more revealing is the claim Elkann and Agnelli will seek to go above Juventus President Jean-Claude Blanc in deciding the club's overall direction.

That could include the decision to move Ferrara upstairs and bring in a replacement like Guus Hiddink, who, according to his agent, has already been contacted by the Bianconeri

I posted a list of available coaches, Vialli is an available coach. I'm not suggesting him for our managers job, infact i think he's a C### and if he ever got the managers job I would refuse to watch the games. There's nothing wrong with putting a list of names up, everyone is trying to think of who is available, and I want to know as well as I do not know the ins and outs of managers and their current locations
fair enough but for credibility sake please leave Vialli off,the man couldn't coach Watford

exactly:tup:

if we have Hiddink lined up then by all means go for it but not change for changes sake. also we have to look at the players, their performance, their motivation(or lack of it) and their attitude

I'm just waiting for Ferrara to get sacked... PLEASE LEAVE!
well kenobi...if that is indeed your name, why not use your Jedi mind powers to force him to quit?

If they think they're bigger than the coach, then you need a coach who is bigger than them. Like Capello when he went all mental and started throwing things at dinner when on of the England players was secretly sending a text message. They know who's the boss.

maybe, but if the players are not performing and think they are above the coach then there are bigger issues to address
There's no maybe about it Boz he is unable to invoke the ' I'll walk through fire for you Boss' mentality that all the greats have. Do you think Melo would be out partying if Hiddink was here, I doubt it.

It's true we do need a new president (Lapo+Blanc), transfer dude (Bettega) as well as a new manager but a great manager could work around these obstacles.

tha sad thing is,Delpie,Trezegol, etc the players he considered "friends" should be giving these boys hell and telling them to respect the coach, respect the fans and respect the club

I dont think this is the case.
Your analogy between what juve is and madrid's galacticos is inaccurate because our players don't have galacticos' big egos.
The old guard are wise enough to not do such a thing especially that they are ferrara's buddies. Trezgol had shit with ranieri but according to his performances he is happy with ciro.
The younger lads still have to prove themselves and are desperately trying to but the tactics are failing them..
Marchiso, Giovinco, poulsen, cacares, diego are all trying to catch the headlines.
Amauri and melo seem to get carried away and end up screwing things up by losing focus. They have Intensity and persistence but they lack direction.

Our biggest problem is the tactics before the motivation. I am not just talking about substitutions i am talking about the apparent lack of instruction... the lack of a game plan.. Players seem to not know what they are supposed to do and end up improvising and thats when shit hits the fan.. especially with melo

Absolutely. Firing Ciro just to replace him with some other incompetent fuck (ie Donadoni) is shooting yourself in the foot and getting raped by an inmate at the same time.

exactly,if the players have stopped performing for a man that is a legend as a player, that is a friend to many and taht needs the help of the experienced pro's then it is not time to change management....it is time to clear out some of the players.
Thought I'd qoute this, since a lot of people seem to be "forgetting" that a big part of the blame goes to the (some?) players.

UPDATE

http://www.football-italia.net/dec21h.html

Tuttosport understands Juventus patron John Elkann and his cousin Andrea Agnelli are set to recommend some radical changes at the club.

Juventus haven't started a season this badly for 11 years, suffering five defeats in their last six games in all competitions, the most recent coming at home to Catania on Sunday.

Ciro Ferrara is under increasing pressure to deliver, especially after the club spent nearly £50m on two new players in the summer.

Elkann and Agnelli arrived at the club's training ground in Vinovo on Thursday to show a united Juventus, but also supposedly to make their intentions known.

The board will meet today to discuss recent events with Elkann and Agnelli pushing for Roberto Bettega's return to the club.

Bettega's contract was allowed to expire in 2007, but his qualities as a technical director are beyond reproach in Turin.

Tuttosport understands Bettega will help Alessio Secco, the club's much-criticised director of sport, in the January transfer market while also lending Ferrara an experienced hand on the training pitch.
