I believe that would not have changed anything defensively nor offensively. Bayern dominated which is quite normal at the Allianz, but when such experienced players like Pirlo and Buffon give 'em the goals, then Conte can do nothing about it. We were simply unlucky in that part. Plus, the Licht penalty incident (which I still think it was a penalty) would've completely changed the outcome.
Buffon

Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini

Lich - Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio - Peluso

Matri - Quag

2nd half
Buffon

Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini

Lich - Vidal - Pogba - Pirlo - Marchisio - Asamoah

Quag

I believe it would have changed a lot, but each to his own.

I'm angry that Juventus didn't show just how good we are to the world.

I live in London and when discussing football with mates (who btw only watch the EPL), I always tell them how good we are.
Your friends in London dont know who Juventus is? They actually must know your nice record in Seria a and nice champions league run so far. They never watched champions league this year, when juventus knocked chelsea out?

Believe it or not, majority of EPL fans I know only watch EPL, Barcelona and Real Madrid

It's only a penalty if he could have reached the ball after his touch and was obstructed, it definitely wasn't a dive, but wasn't a penalty either

I would really prefer Conte to play a back 4 providing that Caceres is fit to play. I would then play a 4-3-3 with Vucinic playing on the left, Matri or Quags in the center and Giaccherini (or possibly Asamoah) on the right.

The back 3 works well for Conte in Serie A and against a lot of sides. But when Bayern's front 3 press against our back three, we struggle to deal with it. I think playing a back 4 would aliviate this pressure considerably.

Say what you want to say about Giaccherini.....but he has great positioning sense on the flanks if he used in that position....that in itself, could free up space for Vucinic and Matri/Quags

I believe in Padoin and Peluso. They can do it.
You have some serious optimism i'm afraid. If both are starting ,a draw would be like a win.(We can forget about overturning this result).

Peluso might be a decent attacking wing-back but he showed he cant contain top quality attackers in the last leg.Padoin on the other hand offers zero guarantees in both aspects.
