Marcelo... what a player. Unbelievable performance.
He’s the kind of player who got much better with age. He’s always been a fantastic technical player but had too many brain fart moments. He’s been rock solid for quite a while now.

Madrid is like the anti juve
They’re the biggest club of all time, nobody gets even close. There’s a saying in South America about a teams shirt being “heavy” when one has such a past of glories. Madrid is the epitome of tradition in Football.

Sorry for my ignorance but P$G spent tons of money and still play these: Yuri Berchiche, Giovani Lo Celso and Presnel Kimpembe. Who are they?

Referees for the two games today are from Italy.

We're gonna find ourselves begging for Jupp to win it just so we don't see one of Real & Barça taking it again :sergio:

God, I hate Champions League.

The saddest thing is one wonders what would've/could've been if the 98 CL final went another way.

I know it's unpopular on tuz, but i have no problem with Real Madrid winning it, as long as they don't kick us out on their way.

Real > Bayern, Barca, PSG, Island Monkeys.

People might criticize Zidane, but he had the balls to bring on Asensio and Vazquez, while Emery got scared and put Meunier instead of Cavani. Emery was always going to be punished for that call imo.

Also, I thought Ronaldo was horrible throughout the game, but then the fucker scores twice. As always. Pf.

Hardly balls. Asensio and Vazguez are their main subs each week. They needed goals considering the scoreline.

Cant really compare to us tbh. We had who to bring from bench? Not a single attacking player.

People would also call balls if it wasnt Juve and we fielding all of Berna-Costa-Mandzu-Higuain. Yes you could say given our system it was expected but it meant all our attacking cards were on the table.

PSG needed to improve the scoreline too. Fear made Emery think 1-1 was good. Fear made him take off Cavani and add an extra defender.

Zidane did the opposite and was rewarded.

That's why Zidane is a great coach and Emery is someone I'd pay to stay away from Juventus.

With the current tactics and players attack is the best form of defence and attack wins you the CL

taking Cavani off for extra cover was what screwed PSG

Zidane got rewarded for his brave decisions

Emery obv isnt good enough.

But i think this Psg team in its own is not all that. Lacks leaders. Lacks grinta. Nobody keeper. Then add players like Neymar who play selfish rather than team.

True. I honestly thought they would go out quickly this year. They're having a poor season and pretty much their entire starting 11 is nearing 30 or over, but sadly they'll go far yet again.

Their desire and belief are unmatched and something that we are lacking completely this season.

It’s been 11 years since I’ve posted in a UCL thread... fast forward 11 years later and we’re still European losers lol
