even so that's 11m more than what we ever made out of tevez, to boca that is pure profit so either way it is win win for them
It's not. We didn't give away Tevez for free, it was just a low fee. Something of 6m $ iirc, but absolutely not sure about that.

We were selling to Boca Juniors though, not exactly a club with billions of $ to squander. They sold to China Club Whatever, who obviously do have billions.

i dont even think we got as much as that, basically we loaned a useless kid and had options on a couple of their players

Betancur option is probably the best thing in that deal. If we trust the press this time, a lot of teams were interested in him, and without that clause, we would lose the bidding war. And his heart was set on Boca return, there was no other way.

Boca made more money out of the tevez deal than we did  fucking marotta :howler:
And you think that we would have just "given him away" if:

A) Tevez didn't specifically state during the middle of the season to Agnelli that he wanted to go back to Boca, and

B) There was a Chinese team interested in him at the time?

and, as 17 posters have already mentioned, we have first option for 9.4 million on a 19 year old that Milan were willing to pay 15 million for this summer, but we blocked.

we basically do give our players away when it comes to selling them
