Moggi did say he wasn't going to be that decisive goal scorer that we badly need.
I don't entirely blame him for not scoring. Against Madrid he had to do a lot of defensive work in order to help first Ogbonna and then Asamoah to close down the likes of Di Maria and Ronaldo and he did that admirably. But he was wasteful in his first 2 games that must be said. He's a very good player nonetheless, but not a WC one and certainly not on a level of Alessandro Del Piero.

He grew up in Favelas where he was probably insulted, robbed, bitten, stabbed, burned and abused in many other ways. Yeah, of all those possible mental blocks out there he must have one in the CL.
what the fuck does that even mean?

You don't think Tevez is WC player? I would not consider him on the levels of messi, Ronaldo or Ibra, but not many are. For me he is certainly among the top tier(WC) players just below the three I mentioned.

Just my opinion. I never considered him to be WC, but very good player absolutely. He adds that extra dimension to our game, what we lacked in the last few years, final touch, but is he capable to take the game and dominate on a big stage, in CL, World Cup, in the way that would have been expected from a truly world class player? I've yet to see that.

I never considered him as a guy to bring just for goals. I mean he can score and have a very good season scoring wise(EPL top scorer one year), but as a whole package, you get a WC player. He does has it all - mentality, technique, power, speed, agility, workrate, tactical flow :D I mean the guy has everything you would want from a player. Like I said he's no Ronaldo, but apart from ronaldos and messi, he is as good as the next guys bellow them.

I'd single out speed, workrate and agility. He really is magnificent player in these; fast, hardworking and his presence is felt in almost all areas. About technique part, not so sure. I mostly look at technique of shooting, passing, dribbling and controlling the ball. His shooting is excellent; perfect combination of power and precision, better than DP in that regard if we're just talking about pure finishing and even shooting from distance; shooting from set pieces is obviously not his forte. He has good ball control as well, but dribbling and passing are mostly average. He lacks variety of moves, for which he needs more creativity and vision, areas where he lacks certain something. He uses his strength and speed to go past his markers rather than aforementioned characteristics. Same goes for passing. Vucinic for instance, although inferior player, he is more creative and has better feeling where and when to pass the ball along with an overall precision of the pass.

He doesn't necessarily need to score goals to dominate games, but his overall influence on the game flow is what I look at. I've seen him mostly in CL and WC games and he doesn't have it, unfortunately. That said I hope he proves me wrong. :D
