Terrorist groups, Islamic extremists, even some of the general public around the Arab world, all sorts of folks. Even despite my sympathy towards the Palestinian cause there were some who celebrated the 9/11 attacks and held up rather disgusting signs in the street.

I feel insulted having to answer this fucking question.

Idiots are everywhere, i'm sure there are people in America that are glad the "ragheads" are being bombed in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Because no major figures speak out publicly against the idiots that practice Islam.

If you're muslim and you think it's dumb to blow up Matt Stone and Trey Parker over an episode of South Park then speak up about it.

It's the same thing when the geniuses behind US foreign policy do dumb stuff. If no major figures within American politics step up and criticize the moves, then Americans around the world are generalized to have the same feelings as the administration making the blunder.
Aaron, I lived almost all my here in Saudi Arabia, only 50Km away from Makkah (which means I get to meat a lot of muslims on their way to Hajj). And, trust me, I have never met anyone or heard of someone who agrees with any kind of bombings (except in Israel, but that a whole different issue). Hell we suffered from them terrorists too, damn them Qaeda they screwed us badly enough.

Furthermore, most of the preachers, imams, relics, thinkers ...etc condemn them week in week out especially in the period from 2001 to 2005. Not to forget how many times King Abdullah came up and promised that he'll remove this "evil from its roots" and so far he had delivered. Also did other high governmental figures.

And as far as I know, those "terrorists" are a fought minority and extremism generally is on its way down.

So speaking for Saudi Arabia we have fought it well enough and had our voices heard. Maybe your media isn't delivering the news but that's not our fault :)

Whenever one of these threads pop up, you don't really see the Muslim members castigating what happens. They are more inclined to nit-pick at comments in the thread, not the original topic.
It oughta be frigging redundant thing to say, to say this is bad or such. You would think so, no? Pretty daft when it so obvious, even expecting one to say it would semi-assuming that its something people need to make their position clear on, in case they would agree with it? :p

Ok .. I just remembered one time I met someone who openly happy about 9/11 and wishing for more upon the US and UK and hell how me and my best friend (who happens from the Bin Laden family) bombarded his mind on how he's wrong and idiotic and ended up with "aa .. uhmmm .. errrr .. "

I'm sure there are as well, but I doubt they'd be planting car bombs to kill them rag heads on their own soil, or elsewhere.
Because they dont need to stoop to such low level tactics. Impractical when they can either cheer from home to see ze ayrabs bombed the shit out of in prime time tv, or join the army or airforce and dish it out themselves :p

Never thought of it that way :D

I hope these extremist scum get their balls chopped off and sewed back into their mouths in Gitmo.
With globalization and everyone getting their opinion heard on the internet and all, it won't be long before we have those extremists on here demanding respect and feeling offended by comments like the above :D

Investigators are poring over a wealth of evidence to find out who tried to detonate a car bomb in Times Square - New York's bustling entertainment area.

The bomb, described as "amateurish", consisted of propane tanks, fireworks, petrol and a clock device. It was planted in a sports utility vehicle.

NYC police commissioner Ray Kelly said there was no evidence to support a Taliban link to the bomb attempt.

It followed a claim by the Pakistani Taliban early on Sunday.

In a video message purportedly released by the Pakistani Taliban, the militants said it was a revenge attack for the deaths of its leader and the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq.

At a news conference on Sunday, Mr Kelly said the device in the Nissan Pathfinder consisted of two clocks connected by wires to a can, which they believed was the detonator, propane tanks and a gun locker.

Mr Kelly also said a white man in his 40s was seen removing a dark shirt in the area and putting it in a bag.

The commissioner added that police would shortly speak to a person in Pennsylvania who believed he may have recorded the man on a video camera.

Experts still had a huge amount of camera footage to pore over, Mr Kelly said.

"It's not easy to go through these tapes. I think we had 82 cameras in the area - we've looked at 30 of those cameras. Three of them had some value," he said.

Earlier on Sunday, US Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano said so far there was no evidence that it was more than a "one-off event".

But she added that it was regarded as "a potential terrorist attack".

Too bad it isn't so obvious to the folks in your religion who carry out such acts.

It just looks bad on your religion.

Not that I care about Islam, though.

I'm the one that always apologizes for the actions of American leaders around here. Whether it be our misguided policies on Palestine, or the oil-for-profit war on Iraq, I've been a staunch opponent of these disasters.

I do not go around to different threads that involve misguided foreign policy and become a troll just because it just so happens that I'm an American.

But hey, I'm the bad guy.
