. They saw this South Park thing as an opportunity to make people in America feel satisfied that their troops in Afghanistan and Iraq are fighting ignorant people that deserve to be erased from the world in cooperation with Israel.

But what you fail to realize is a small incident like this doesn't convince anybody of anything in America. Americans who are right now sympathetic to Palestinians or against the wars in the middle east are not going to change their views because a poorly constructed car bomb likely made by extremists was found in New York.
Any American with a brain doesn't blame Muslims for the actions of a few extremists.

The only Americans who actually believe that Muslims deserve to be erased from the earth have already made up their minds and this small minority of jackasses isn't going to change their racially based views on an incident like this.
