Man everything Al-Qaeda endorses is ok, obviously. Including the attacks it either does or endorses by other groups in Arab and Muslim countries like Egypt, Algeria and Pakistan

Whenever one of these threads pop up, you don't really see the Muslim members castigating what happens. They are more inclined to nit-pick at comments in the thread, not the original topic.

Just my observation, which is true, unfortunately.

Not to say those folks agree with the actions of a select few. But it sure doesn't look good.

From now on, i intend to make generalized comments on Americans, Serbs, or any group i feel like, i will wait for the usual hypocrites to come out, then i will redirect them to this thread.

That's OK, Fred, because every time the US is mentioned in a topic, you have folks bending-over-backwards to accommodate the historical revisionists and extremists who claim we, the American people, are the root of all evil. You see folks like Enron and I saying that yes, our foreign policy has been utterly deplorable over the last half century (which is true), yet it still isn't enough. Perhaps people want us to chant, "DEATH TO AMERICA" like the rest of the minions around the world for them to be fully satisfied.

So I guess this attack was OK then.
This is to Fred as well.

So now you know why people tend to generalize muslims.
Both of you, are you implying that Im with such an idiotic act just because I didn't post anything here? I thought Omair said things well enough in name of all the muslim members and Tahir posted and article before this even happens explaining the view of the Ahmadieh in this, which is a very good point of view that I totally agree with. In no way this should have been the way to act for some cartoon series, and targeting innocent civilians even makes it more disgusting.

Is that clear enough for you?

p.s: when I replied to Aaron's post I thought I was replying in the Burqu thread for some reason hence I didn't explain more.

No i don't, why?
Because no major figures speak out publicly against the idiots that practice Islam.

If you're muslim and you think it's dumb to blow up Matt Stone and Trey Parker over an episode of South Park then speak up about it.

It's the same thing when the geniuses behind US foreign policy do dumb stuff. If no major figures within American politics step up and criticize the moves, then Americans around the world are generalized to have the same feelings as the administration making the blunder.

I'm not implying that anyone is pro-blowing up the creators of south park.

Fred got upset because Dusan used the word "they" to unintentionally generalize muslims. I took it further and explained why people tend to wrongfully generalize the Islamic religion.

I think it is clear that I wasn't instigating anyone and was merely explaining a trend in world culture.

No really, who says that American people are the root of all evil??
Terrorist groups, Islamic extremists, even some of the general public around the Arab world, all sorts of folks. Even despite my sympathy towards the Palestinian cause there were some who celebrated the 9/11 attacks and held up rather disgusting signs in the street.

I feel insulted having to answer this fucking question.
