You're talking from league's perspective. He's talking from Juve's perspective. I won't mind being like Bayern. Win the league regularly, be financially powerful to buy the best players from the other Italian teams, and do reasonably well in the CL. Even better if we can do this with the other Italian teams also being good, unlike the Wolfsburgs&co.

In that sense I can agree. Although I think that in a lot of ways we are like Bayern already. We win the league on a very regular basis, we're financially healthy and we have the best players in the league. Where we fail and Bayern (and Real and Barcelona and..) succeed is capitalizing on our fanbase IMO.

EDIT: But I do think we're starting to do that as well. The new stadium was a massive step in the right direction for example.

In order to facilitate achieving this (Bayern-like monopoly), we need just 5-7 more years of Milano clubs' irrelevance.
By that point we will be way too ahead.
Especially if FFP blocks any kind of potential radical investments in their favor.

Nah. This isn't true at all. It would actually be much more ideal if only one of the Milan clubs was a Serie A powerhouse, and one Roman club. If we had a 3 powerhouses in Juventus, AC Milan and Roma, that would be ideal for Serie A. Having no giant club in Rome, with all the potential of that city if it had a monster club, well, that's a problem for Serie A going forward. The thing about the Milan clubs having higher potential revenue and appeal than Roma is silly and not true, perhaps AC Milan, because of their massive European history, but Inter is nowhere near Juventus and AC Milan, and Roma has massively higher potential in every way if they can sort themselves out and make a real plan going forward with that stadium and other developments.

This is exactly it. It's fun to talk trash about other Serie A clubs, but the only one I really would hate to see winning is Inter.

Serie A could easily be a top 2 League in Europe with a strong Juve, Milan, and Roma. It's really quite pathetic that there is no "big" club in the capital, though I suppose it really does leave massive potential for growth for Roma probably as Lazio seems too... insular maybe? I wouldn't mind Roma becoming a powerhouse alongside us, as long as this doesn't happen until Totti retires. It's much more fun being able to laugh about Totti with only 1 scudetto.
