(From an old edition of #Times dated March 1891)
“LONDON CELEBRATION: JACK THE RIPPER ACQUILT”
"THE LAZIO TAR SAYES HIM RIGHT: THE COMMUNICATION OF THE INVESTIGATION AGAINST HIM HAS BEEN NOTIFIED AT THE ADDRESS OF THE MOTHER"
“JUSTICE FINALLY” SAYS JACK
“JUBULATION AMONG THE FANS”

says he met a Woman who was married to a Mediaset journalist and met him once a week in Turin. Can't say his name but from that point he only cries about Juve.
he claims its fake interviews https://www.ilsussidiario.net/news/...lie-messo-alla-gogna-dopo-calciopoli/2240964/ :

Paolo Ziliani in the columns of the Fatto Quotidiano spoke of " countless lawsuits " coming from the " world Juve-Moggi-friends of Moggi-referees ", but above all of a request for dismissal that " Andrea Agnelli advanced on my account to the director of SportMediaset Claudio Brachino in the summer of 2013 ”. The following year the program 'La Tribù del Calcio' which he had been managing for 5 years and which was " the most listened to program on Premium”. What is special, however, is the fact that by typing the journalist's name and surname into Google, search results such as 'Paolo Ziliani wife' and 'Paolo Ziliani horns' appear. The first result is 'Paolo Montero slept with Paolo Ziliani's wife'. An item reported – as reconstructed by Paolo Ziliani – also by Luciano Moggi on Facebook with the following post: “ We read that a Juve player was his wife's 'friend'. Whether this was the trigger for so much anger I am not given to know also because I don't see what fault Juve could have had if one of its members had sex with his wife ” .

But Paolo Ziliani also speaks of social profiles – from Facebook to Twitter via Instagram – which have offered fake interviews with Paolo Montero in which false statements are attributed to him such as: “Between me and Ziliani's wife there was much more than of wild sex. For a long time we have been in love ”. Sufferings for which today the journalist on the columns of the Fatto Quotidiano concludes with a harsh attack on Juventus . “ This, for you to know, is the Juve style and the Juve world. This is what happens to those who try to be a journalist today, 2021, sticking their nose into the ugliest hole in Italian football ”.

it would make the appeal pointless as the whole process would be invalid

procedural errors are the best hope for juventus as they won't require any reasoning or subjective evaluation. it would mean that the whole process was unlawful, and also the rulings would be invalid by definition
Dont give me hope. Its the hope that kills

Federal prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné has asked for another 20-day extension regarding the investigation into Juve 'salary manoeuvres' and 'suspicious partnerships' with other clubs.
Sporting code gives the federal prosecutor the possibility of being able to request the General Prosecutor's Office for Sport at CONI for 2 additional investigation times: 40 days (which expired yesterday) and 20 days (which they can ask for until the end of the month)
The federal prosecutor's office has reportedly received a 'copious amount of new documents from the Turin prosecutors' who are working on the Prisma investigation. It's unclear if the documentation will have any real impact on the course of the investigation.
In addition to the club, the players could also be at risk (FIGC Sporting Code of Justice provides for "at least one month of disqualification"), if they signed the alleged 'salary manoeuvre' agreements outside the permitted procedures. [GdS]

blame tuttosport for this too:

everyone with a brain knows that this sentence stinks from every angle. it's italy so everything can still happen, but if you ignore the juve haters the general consensus is that this penalty should have not been awarded under any circumstances

in a normal country chiné should be removed from his position, figc president should resign and juve should sue for damages and win. now there's zero chance of this happening. but the points penalty might actually be removed, or at least the case might be returned to figc for reevaluation. not a single source, be it tuttosport or cds/gds expects the coni appeal committee to confirm the penalty.

Heavy shades (or direct parallels even) of Roger Goddell, Rob Manfred and his predecessor Bud Selig
