Out of favour Juventus midfielder Manuele Blasi will be a Monaco player within the next few days, according to his agent Davide Lippi.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been on the lookout for a new club all summer, as new boss Claudio Ranieri clearly does not rate him any higher than Didier Deschamps did, who sent him out on loan to Fiorentina last season.
Genoa had been in the frame but could not meet his salary demands, which should not be an issue for the French municipality club.
"Manuele is very close to signing with Monaco,” confirmed agent Davide Lippi. “His intention was always to play regularly and now he has found a team where he will be able to.
"The signature will not arrive today, also because currently we are not in France. But in the next few days, yes, as the offer remains concrete."
