I had a long list last Saturday. Bet 1 euro on 15 teams out of the blue. I would have won around 1110 euros. The only game I got wrong was Blackburn - Leicester which I thought would be a win for Leicester. I got all other 14 correct :sergio:

im not betting anymore but i used to bet alot 5-6 years ago. i remember back when Lyon dominated the Ligue 1 (in 2004/05) i really thought they are gonna have an unbeaten season. i put Lyon against Lille on a ticket for around 700 € and they lost 2-1 (not sure about the score...). i said to myself i will never bet at Lyon again and next season they were on a unbeaten run again and i decided to bet on them again.... they lost 4-1 against Rennes at home :sergio:

got 6/7 results right from the CL and Europa League with 60/1 odds. When Bayern let me down on Tuesday i said i'll do the same bet again without Bayern in it and still get easily 50/1 odds.

Didn't bother doing this as i said fuck it i wont hit the accu anyway so no point. All the results did come in now and i am gutted :(

Last week Bayern let me down for 300 euro, this week it was Atalanta's turn to screw me over for 400 euro. 6/7 twice in a row is a tough one to take. Really did not see Atalanta losing at home to 19th place Sassuolo.

hull vs sunderland - hull
tottenham vs sunderland - tottenham
west ham v liverpool - liverpool
levante vs ath bilbao - ath bilbao
atalanta vs sassuolo - atalanta
cagliari vs roma - roma
catania vs torino - torino

There's always one bloody team that'll let you down. I had two accum's on this weekend (one 7 team, and another with 9).Bayern let me down in the first and then Norwich in the second.

Can't have come as too much of a shock that Atalanta didn't win.

Getting to the point of the season where who needs the points more is every bit as important as how good the teams are.

I avoid betting Bayern in the league as the odds are just not worth the risk of them taking their eye off the ball for a game and screwing over a whole accu. Was shocked myself they lost as their B team could probably win the league tbh.

Ye a friend of mine used this logic and Sunderland let him down for big money a couple of weeks ago lol, i think it's pretty hit and miss with relegation teams as u never know what u are going to get from them. Second time Sassuolo have screwed me, when they beat Milan that cost 800 euro as i had a 10 fold with a 2 euro bet. Might avoid their games from now on they are my bogey team!

The logic doesn't apply as much in England as it does it Italy, though.

In England teams are notorious for trying regardless of circumstances.

In Italy the mid-table teams are notorious for switching off and losing to teams who need the points more than they do.

torino were excellent odds at 2/1 i had tipped them in a betting group. really pissed that i had Immobile first goalscorer and not at any time also at 2/1 and also to be motm at 9/1. only to fall short of bergessio who fucking had 1 assist to his game whilst immobile got the winner. :sergio:

I feel your pain with atalanta as i had them in a double with torino.

Think the Scottish Cup semi-finals are worth a look this weekend:

New Rangers v Dundee Utd - Utd have to be huge favourites to win this, but you can still get them at better than evens. Could even be worth putting them on -1.

Aberdeen v St. Johnstone - We have played them four times this season, winning three and drawing one, and they haven't scored against us in any of the games. Don't know whether that should be interpreted as us being likely to win with another clean sheet or if it means they are due to at least score against us.
