We don't need spectacular? Lol what a way to sell a player...

And completely bs to boot.

BS. Right. We need a solid CM. That's it. Of course it would be nice to have XI world class players as our starters... but that's unrealistic. It's not BS in the slightest. We need a solid starting CM to play alongside Pjanic and Khedira until Marchisio comes back.

SO I shall say it again. We are perfectly fine without picking up anything other than a solid starting mid.

Please, continue to exaggerate how terrible our midfield is/will be.

Yeah you are right, that's how you improve your team, sell your best midfielder and buy just solid rotational level players. Very welcome way to prepare for CL glory.

Yeah. Because we didn't upgrade all over the pitch.

Higuain + Pjanic + Alves. All just solid rotational players

Dybala + Sandro will probably be worse this year too, they definitely won't improve.

Yeah. Losing Pogba is such a massive downgrade.

Please though, continue massively overrating the influence of Pogba on our team.

Don't bother. He's incredibly biased and will resort to sarcasm and insults to belittle your opinion

And  that I say "solid starting player" and you say "solid rotational level player". Yeah. Nice changing what I said.

Because not being spectacular and world class means you are total cack and at best a rotation option.

Learn to read. Not good enough TO BE A STARTER!

There is always room for improvement. I am actually happy when we win, but that might be hard for you to fathom, comprehend, or even believe I suppose.
I don't believe it at all tbh.
My intention is crystal clear.

I want the bench players to be dependable, great mentality/determination and good at something. That can be 'even more mentality/determination" or a technical thing.

I dont want a wet towel on the bench who's useless

Yes, almost time for Marotta's work to crush and ridicul all your negative shit, meaning you are almost fucking off again :weee:
But Witsel's mentality is exemplary. And he's great physically too. I think we both agree he's not good enough to start, but I don't agree that he's weak willed or not strong enough physically.

Getting Pjanic was also deemed unrealistic. European football is extremely competitive, we need to concretize all the improvement we can realistically get. Our midfield needs to be improved if Pogba leaves otherwise it's weaker obviously and you can't deny that. Having in mind Claudio's injury and Khedira being made of glass, it makes it all the more important.

i'm not dissing his technical ability. Thats a nice average. I'm dissing purely his mentality. And without that mentality, his technical ability alone isnt good enough for juve.

Other serie a teams could consider

I've never suggested (aside from kidding around about Witsel >Pogba) that we shouldn't try to get the best players possible if Pogba leaves. I'd like to get another mid of that Pjanic level. 100%. But I'm not going to meltdown if we get a damn good player like Matic who isn't quite that quality. Especially knowing that Marchisio will be back and fit in time for the CL knockouts in February.

Seeing the improvements we made in attack and on the wings... As long as we get a Matic -level mid to get us through the group stage, I'll be fine with that. Of course I'd like better. But being a baby about it won't change the fact there aren't a lot of top-class CMs on the market right now.

If we knew we were losing Pogba, I'm a little disappointed we didn't sign Gomes or Kante.
