No big/cash rich team would be wanting to sign Cesc.

He's going to turn 29 shortly so the notion that the top teams will be queuing up to sign him is pretty laughable.

At best, only PSG might consider him but even then their midfield is already packed with quality. With the revenue such as theirs they'd be aiming to sign the hot properties in the game today than a Chelsea flop.

Juventus is the most attractive option he can aim for if he leaves Chelsea.

Getting Cesc for us is based on other reasons than what it would be for the filthy rich. They want whats new and shiny while we work with the mentality that in our environment we can get the best out of players. It goes back to the success we've had with Pirlo, Tevez, Barzagli, Evra etc etc who managed to reach a level to their game people thought they had lost.

A 28 year old Cesc? Next to Marchisio and Pogba would be awesome.

Don't think we'll see any big acquisition the coming month. Maybe some sort of a Mandragora deal, maybe Cuadrado will be signed on a permanent basis, but that's it.

We'll end up with no one from those.
Of course :D

Exactly what I was thinking. We will try to wrap up a loan deal we have or shop in Italy. Probably nothing from outside of Italy.

So the rumors are flying in now: Darmian, Banega, Oscar, Cesc, some other Italians.

Will be another interesting month.
We cant sign Cesc, as long as we have Marotta, for various reasons.
Darmian is cack,Oscar would be great, but will they le him go now? I would be pleased even if we were announcing deal for the summer.
Banega is well within Marotta's capabilities, but he would better not, as i see him as the new Tiago, he is good for Spain, but wont cope in the more physical Italian football,
besides, his left foot is crippled, his European carrier will end soon...
