That's not true IMO. Fabregas should cost about 30m IMO, 35m at best if there's interest from other clubs. Bayern for example could dispose Xabi Alonso and replace him with Cesc. Just like that. Same goes for City, every Summer they have the same soap opera with Yaya. Experienced Cesc will get the job done, especially if Madrid again refuses to sell them Isco.

Someone else said Chelsea wouldn't sell to rivals. I don't agree, just take a look at Mata, Cech or Lukaku, etc. all that matters is money. Chelsea will have to rebuild, they'll need it.
Alonso just extended with Bayern. And they have Thiago, Martinez and a load other talented midfield kids. They have zero necessity for him.

And City replacing Toure with Fabregas ? Why would even consider doing that.Their budget is infinite and with Pep they'd have greater pulling power. They would replace Yaya with Pogba or some other young midfield star not used up goods like Fabregas.

May I remind you that Fabregas is having a shit season so there's no reason for rich teams to even consider him. This is for teams with a lower budget like Juventus, Atlético, Liverpool etc who would consider him as their budget is not big enough to buy the best.
Frankly you're stuck in the past. This current Fabregas is not elite. And if you thought Pirlo was a defensive liability , this guy's just as bad.

And Chelsea don't need any of that pittance Fabregas money to rebuild. They need not comply for ffp anymore and they'd be receiving a truckload of cash next season either way like every other EPL team along with a progressive revenue(will cross the €500m barrier next yr).So yeah, the days where they had to sell to rivals to meet ffp demands are over.
Btw the Cech transfer was irregardless of ffp.It was Cech himself who was very keen to move to Arsenal.

Now if you were talking about Gündogan here instead of Cesc then I would've agreed with you.An older, slow Cesc just isn't worth the hassle for top teams.

So we are now sure Pogba is off to City or what? I think the money factor is overestimated here. EPL has been spending the most for years now and City certainly know it's not easy to buy from other big teams.

Cesc is hardly washed up. He was fantastic for Chelsea last season, this one is not solely on his shoulders. For the kind of money he'll be available I think he'll go elsewhere and our chances to get him are close to zero. We'll struggle for Oscar if we try let alone Fabregas.

GDS say we'll look to replace Zaza with Matri or Osvaldo if he leaves

Looks like Santa Marotta is heading back to the brothel again to give us a new Christmas gift. :beppe:

That is absolutely nonsense. Bayern have exactly ONE creative midfielder and that is Thiago, who has been injured a lot during his time. There r Alonso and Kimmich for the CDM and Martinez has played CB, but could be an option for that position too. Then there r Vidal and Rode, who both r more runners with limited technigue and passing abilities. There r no other talented midfielder kids, only Højbjerg who is on loan at Schalke, but he is not creative also. So if I should predict the next purchases of Bayern, then buying a CM with technique and good passing is a definite must and Rode has to make place for that player. IMO there r three players on the shortlist: Gündogan, Pjanic and Dahoud. Fabregas seems indeed not realistic, but I wouldnt rule it out completely, as ur reasoning makes no sense.

Don't know if it's been posted or not but according to La Stampa, Juve is interested in El Shaarawhy el carajo or whatever the $#@! his name is, and Monaco has been asking for Zaza. Don't know if it's legit it's from a tweet.

It also says this "La Stampa reports that Milan does not mind El Carajo going to Juventus as long as they get 14mil in July"
El Carajo

I dont want that overrated piece of shit and his ridiculous hair anywhere near Juve.

Yeah forget SES, his next stop is Samp or something. He has to reinvent himself as a serious player, no time for someone like that at Juventus, look at our front line FFS. Zaza has twice as big a pair and he can barely play.
