You miss the point in the Draxler saga. WOB heavily outbid us, it has nothing to do with what the player wanted.

Draxler is happy to stay in Germany, he most definitely prefers Germany of Italy but it was not the decisive factor in the transfer. If WOB didn't bid he would be ours. Draxler's voice had zero weight.

the problem is that this has happned 4 years in a row now. and beppe doesnt learn from his mistakes.

everytime his negotiations dragged on he lost his target. see aguero, van persie, sanchez, jovetic, sanchez again, now draxler.

you think after 4 seasons of failure, he would learn to cough up the extra 3-5 million and get the deal over with, but no, he let it drag out and suprise suprsise, another team outbid him typical.

it's even more frustrating when you consider he had no problem forking 18m for an injured isla, 18m for zaza, 40m for dybala..etc.

how do you not learn from your mistakes?

I'm sure if Felipe Anderson has a good season, we'll pay 40-50 ml to have him next summer. Also, we'll probably get Berrardi back plus a classy RB.

This season will be the last for Rubinho, Barzagli and Padoin with us.

I think we are in a position now where we could throw down 40-45m on a single player next season due to having covered most of our bases this summer.

Buy a RB also because Lict is declining and will only get worse.

Felipe Anderson isnt worth the 50M mark yet but might be worth it comes the end of this season - I guess if we dont act to sign him at the end of this year (or in january) he will go to the EPL probably Man Utd..

Veratti and Tielsman together I`m not sure it would work but both are representing present and future - Veratti is the present while Tielsman could definitely be the future!

As for Draxler - I`m not exactly crying from joy to see Hernanes with us but I must admit I wasnt sure about Draxler as I`m not sure he is the player to take us forward
Best player we should aim for (If available) is Isco otherwise I`d go for Anderson if he can show his level and signs of developing

Other factor is that we have a lot of payments to do for the next few years now. I could see management trying to avoid big spending on one player if we win the scudetto and get out of group stages in CL. They definitely look to decrease our debts.

yeah, so Draxler is happy to stay in Germany but also had nothing against joining Juventus, so his voice did have weight. it was only after he accepted VWs offer that he moved there

i didn't say together although that would be superb. i say we get tielsman and push for anderson. we should raise funds from isla and CL money hopefully.
