Not horrible but he clearly doesn't have the balls to switch leagues and play with the big boys, you can tell by his words he chose the easier option which was to stay in Germany, but in his defense he's also getting more money to make that choice.

After 2 injury filled years, I didn't feel ready to be the centre of a big team, which is expected to win immediately. The guy just didn't want to become the next Gotze. He wanted to make the transition when he feels ready. And at the age of 21 he didn't feel ready to go to a championship that he doesn't know and be the focal point of the CL finalists attack. He preferred a championship that he knows and a team that is not expected to win anything any time soon (anything won will be a bonus and pleasant surprise).

Some will call this too mature for his age. Some others lack of will to put his legs in the fire. We'll see if he is a spineless pussy or a mature guy that will do the next step when he is ready.

thats the case. we got the better player for less money. sure, Draxler is much younger and could reach the level of Hernanes one day, but right now, Hernanes is much better.

You miss the point in the Draxler saga. WOB heavily outbid us, it has nothing to do with what the player wanted.

Draxler is happy to stay in Germany, he most definitely prefers Germany of Italy but it was not the decisive factor in the transfer. If WOB didn't bid he would be ours. Draxler's voice had zero weight.
