No one is questioning the loyalty to the club, its just disappointing we are letting him go.... and knowing Vidal he will play along the management line cause he gives 200% for this club.

And about all the injury bull, show me the stats, he hardly misses game, his bad knee is blown out of proportion. It's already a thing in the past. We are selling him at a perfect condition.
The knee thing is only used as an exuse for playing badly for the first half of the season, and suddenly becoming much less skilled in attack, possesion and passing. But when he is sold, he knee is a-okay, never a problem.

I hope this is sarcasm, because Vidal was never a possesion or passing guy. He is a goal scoring tackler, and his goals and assist are equal to the tally he did in 11/12 where he is perfectly fine.
He only missed 4-6 games on the knee injury last season.

How many players, would play with a knee issue, put it on hold for the club and the country. He gave his al for Juventus and Chile.

Remember the rumored news Conte quit because the club were considering to sell Vidal.

Conte once said "Vidal? If I ever go to war he's the one I'll take with me, someone who never hides once the going gets tough."

I'm not even sure you believe that.

40m is a steal by today's market standards. Especially for a proven player who is still in his prime despite last season IMO.
I think he is past his prime, but I guess we will have to wait and see the standard of his games for Bayern. His prime imho was 2 seasons ago.

Saying he is past his prime is a bold statement IMO, especially with someone with Vidals mentality and spirit. If i were a betting man, I'd bet on him being among the top 3 midfielders in tackling, interceptions and goals next year. I also think he's perfect for Bayern.

I'd still take that 'past his prime' Vidal. He turned into a champion here and he always gave his all. Even if he wasn't that good last season he started to show signs of his old self in the second part of the season. He confirmed his form in Copa America.

I think the management got this one wrong. Pirlo and Tevez already left and allowing Vidal to go shows our management is too confident of winning another Serie A. IMO Vidal deserved the pay rise and should have been kept here. You don't build a big club by selling your best players. Vidal is 28 ffs. Nedved came here when he was 29. Even being past 30 Vidal would be very useful. You could transform him into a classic DM and with age he'd be better at reading the game and still would be effective defensively. It's hard to find another CM with so much stamina and grinta. The guy has been sliding on his ass for four years for our shirt - he deserved more.

Sorry to say this but Bayern got a true bargain here. Some say about Vidal such stupid things you'd though the man is already on a wheelchair. It's a pretty bad deal especially if we end up with Draxler as AM. Sure he might be a huge talent but he isn't that experienced, he's not a champion and he's been injured a lot. I trust the management with the Draxler deal; Should have gotten him without selling Vidal though.

To me Vidal is a Juve legend. The man resembles Juve spirit and was a crucial player to our revival. I'm a huge Davids fan and I have to say: if Davids is considered a legend for this club then Vidal has to be too.

This.By the way some members deal with his healed knee injury we have to sell also Asa because he had a knee injury and also Caceres with knee bruise.

It's actually a sweet deal for an abysmal player

The only reason he could be past his prime is if he were to become complacent. Which is a real risk IMO. Surely there is nothing physically wrong with him.

No, when you sarcastically commented that Vidals numbers were abysmal as a dig on those who were justifying his sale by saying he had an abysmal season, i thought klin was one of those people. But it then turned out that he was being sarcastic too.
I liked the way I understood it though, it had sting.

I doubt he'll get complacent, if he was he would have long ago, winning the serie a 4 seasons in a row, but he still always gave it his all on the pitch.

Ya, reading it again, I see that :p

He would be perfect for Bayern if they werent coached by Guardiola. Not to say Vidal's passing is bad, but certainly not up to the standards Guardiola requests from his mids. I really expect him to have dreadful time there and probably will be played out of position. This guy benched Martinez, WC defensive mid coming from a fantastic season, who for many had been pivotal in Bayern's demolition of Barca only few months before.

People seem to be forgetting about Vidal's off the pitch antics, which seem to be happening with more regularity. FFS he could have killed his wife in that car crash, and told a police man that ''he's making a big mistake for Chile by arresting him''

He should have been sold for that alone. Absolutely no class.
