Vida is an amazing player on matter how you put it, he has at least three great years ahead of him, and we will feel his absence. Also the price is kinda low, especially from a Juve fan perspective, however I really believe that we got the max we could get for him. No one is that stupid to accept the first received offer, maybe Bayer was the only club interested, or Vidal only wanted Bayern, and they got leverage. Also maybe Marotta wanted to do a quick sale to avoid disruption during pre season, and wanted to complete the squad as soon as possible.

All those are big if's, and speculation based on nothing. Can we just agree that loosing Vidal is a big loss for us, but is also water under the bridge now, and that we should have faith in our management because of great job they have done in last few years.

People seem to be forgetting about Vidal's off the pitch antics, which seem to be happening with more regularity. FFS he could have killed his wife in that car crash, and told a police man that ''he's making a big mistake for Chile by arresting him''

He should have been sold for that alone. Absolutely no class.
Is he a car driver for us or a footballer? On the pitch he always acted like a professional and helped us winning trophies. Selling winners just because they make mistakes won't do us any good.

He would be perfect for Bayern if they werent coached by Guardiola. Not to say Vidal's passing is bad, but certainly not up to the standards Guardiola requests from his mids. I really expect him to have dreadful time there and probably will be played out of position. This guy benched Martinez, WC defensive mid coming from a fantastic season, who for many had been pivotal in Bayern's demolition of Barca only few months before.
The difference between Martinez and Vidal, is that the former is a pure dm, those players are CBs in Peps eyes (see Masch). Not Vidal though, he'll be perfect for Bayerns high pressing game, his ability to win the ball high up the pitch is exactly what they need. I doubt they expect him to be some kind of playmaker, so despite the fact that he does tend to misplace easy passes, the benefits still outweigh the cons from Bayerns perspective.

Also did you not see him play for Chile in the Copa? Sampaolis tactical setup and philosophy is very similar to that of Peps. Chile play a possession based style with lots of short passing build up. They employ a 3_5-2 system, none of the back 3 are natural cb's, they're a mix of fullbacks and Dm's :p

without him / he just played below 20 minutes. we won 9 matches and draws 3 matches, never loss.
pereyra / sturaro can replace vidal well when vidal did not play.

He was drink-driving (as far as I remember) and acted like a total prick.

Arturo Vidal isn't that good of a footballer that a club can let things like that slide. Juve's footballer should be immaculately behaved on and off the pitch. No bullshit.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

@Klin look at this
:lol::lol::lol: But you don't know that only in Vidal's case 28 years are counted 45 .He is so old .And a meniscus knee injury this days is so serious like his leg is shorter 10 centimeters.Don't you know that facts?And Bayern are the most stupid team in the world to give that 45 years old player 5 years contract with such injury problems.First thing Marotta should do is selling Asa because of his knee surgery.Otherwise we will suffer even with him too.

I am dying to see what you will say when you get to be proven wrong on multiple occasions in the coming season.

Vidal = 123.33 Barzagli's?
That's irrelevant. Beppe said we had to balance books. We didn't need to buy Pereyra and Zaza in first place. We'd be better off without Pereyra and Zaza had we kept Vidal. Zaza and Pereyra would be on bench while Vidal could have player 3-4 more years.
