And when he isn't bossing the midfield or contributing to our attacking play, he's deep down in the defence heading away dangerous crosses. He's everywhere, this beast. In my opinion, he is - put simply - the best player in our squad.

His pass to Lichtsteiner ahead of the 2nd goal was the true blow for Lazio in that move. It completely opened them up and sent Licht clear through on goal. Lichty could've probably finished the move off himself, but instead opted to pass it to Chiellini who was in an even better position. But Vidal's pass was the killer component in that move. It made Licht's and Chiellini's tasks pretty easy.

Meh, Licthsteiner's and especially Chiellini's energetic runs seem equally "important" to me but it was an all-round beauty nonetheless.

If - and that's a big "if" I hope - we sell this guy one day it will bring great depression to me and the people I socialize with.

Yes, they all played an important part in the goal. It was a very good team move. But what I meant was that it was Vidal's contribution that really made Lazio struggle, as that pass gave us a lot of time. It completely put Lazio on the backfoot, and we were ahead by several seconds, even finding ourselves in a 2 against 1 situation that we was then able to execute easily.

Looking at it again, it's just a damn fine team move. Vidal plays his part, and should be praised for it, but I see it now that Licht and Chiellini are equally important in placing us in such an advantageous position to score. I agree with you @Qwisto
