This is an obsession. Every team draws against minnows in europe. See every Pep team with every eastern european team. Klopp with red star this year. Mourinho with everyone.He had 1 bad season with us in europe.

In what way is Diego Costa anything like Ronaldo?? One is football's most well known asshole, the other one is a model professional.

Formations are not proven to qualify you or disqualify you from any competition. This is video game football. it's only about getting the best out of your players. Still yes, our team is begging for a 3-4-3, CM is our clear weakpoint, we have Bonucci, we have attacking wingback, we have a Ronaldo and Dybala that aren't adept at providing width for a 433.

Of course you can criticize Zidane's record. He lost the league to Barcelona before december! But you can criticize every manager's record. They all have flaws.

Is this what all this hate is about? Zidane said one of the happiest days of his life was when as a Juve player Florentino asked him to join Madrid. Conte was our legend, captain, and then coaching legend as well regardless of bitchy comments.

Conte is no football god, neither is Zidane or Allegri or anyone else. But this responses are out of hand. The difference in metric used to hate on Conte compared to others are ridiculous, it reads like a heartbroken teen hating on an ex.

I was being quite civilized i thought. Never insulted Conte. I dont play football manager. At the end of Conte spell most people said his back 3 helds us back and was found out as opponents adapted. Conte didnt. This stubborness cost him in europe.

Pep and Mou have never failed to advance from group. We drew games at home which meant we needed wins away and we drop even more points. Conte record in CL is poor. Zidane just won 3 in a row. Zidane wont have to compete with Messi barca for league title here. And Real always priorities CL over league.

No one is perfect. I just think we need new ideas. Conte will come with his old ideas and unproven european record. He failed in EL when we had a better team than opponent and final was played in Turin. Allegri would have gotten to that final. Wait. We would not have dropped to EL in the first place.

So you bring Zidane league season....Conte finished 6th with Chelsea last season. After the player he chased (Morata) flopped.

For me Conte appointment brings huge doubts in CL.

And people, the football under Conte won’t be that much different than Allegri-ball. Not to mention he is way less tactical than Max as well. Nah. I’d welcome him back after we manage to win this fucking trophy though.

At least I cant bitch about lacking structure and identity any more. To bad the structure will be 5-3-2, with all the workhorses on at the same time.
