ANTONIO CONTE is reportedly ready to quit Chelsea this summer unless his demands are met.

Conte arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer and guided Chelsea to the Premier League title and FA Cup final in his first season in charge.

Chelsea are keen to tie Conte down to a new contract after an impressive maiden campaign in England.

But according to the Daily Record, Conte and Chelsea’s hierarchy are at odds over the club’s plan of action for the upcoming season.

The Italian manager reportedly wants more money to spend in the summer window to improve all areas of his squad.

Conte has publicly stated his side is currently not fit to defend their Premier League crown and compete in the Champions League next term.

He reportedly feels Chelsea owe him a big transfer budget after his employers failed to deliver on his targets in his two previous windows at Stamford Bridge.

Conte is also said to have requested a direct line of communication to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, full control over the club’s academy and improved financial terms.

The 47-year-old also wants power over the appointment of assistant coaches following the departure of Steve Holland to England this summer.

The Daily Record add that Chelsea may be forced to turn to former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel should Conte leave due to lack of options.

Inter Milan were heavily linked with a move for the former Juventus and Italy manager, but he has repeatedly remained loyal to Chelsea when talking about his future.

Tuchel is off to southampton by the looks of things.

Seriously at this rate no big team will want to employ Conte, or just use him as a manager who will bring instant stability and short term success rather than anything long term. He's only harming his own career which is a shame
The squad will be extremely stretched next season and they need atleast 4 players

If they aren't going to even attempt to sign them I can't blame him for leaving as it will only get worse for them next season with the extra games and having to rotate and deal with more injuries

No doubt their squad is on the thin side, the thing is not much has been said about who Conte actually wants asides from the rumoured links with bonucci, nainggolan and rudiger

If there's any truth into this, you'd think that they'd have learned after what happened with Carlo, Jose in 2015 and Di Matteo. That's the problem with owners who act like their clubs are a personal project of theirs.

What's this direct line about? Surely a manager can arrange to meet up and talk to the owner as an when he wants. Maybe there are some internal politics within the club that he doesnt like. Communism at chelsea.
