He is not blaming the squad for his failure .He is blaming of everyone surrounding juventus having higher expectations than what this squad can achieve ie win the champions league . He knows the team in and out , players loose motivation after winning titles , you need to bring in new players and rejuvenate the squad .
Some here are linking our failure in CL to his outburts , if failure to exit the group stage would have been such a big issue for the board , conte would be sacked .

I am not saying to win the champions league, but how does it make any sense that we have improved as a squad and we did worse in Europe? The board obviously wanted this third scudetto but I would assume they wanted at least pass the group stages in the cl.

We went out of the CL group stages, cause of blunders. Yeah, that defence. And without Barzagli its half as good

Dont be blinded by stats. Our solid organisation and impressive midfield keeps opponents from creating much. But the actual 3 defenders, thats something else.
