Zambrotta hit me the most, from an unknown winger with Bari to a world class wing back. I had his photo and signature at home on my desk, after calciopoli, I couldn't bear to look at it any more and packed it away. Sad times

Man... Zambrotta should've stayed. He had it all back then and then his skills started to rot after moving to Barfa. His skills might start to rot here too but at least he'd be loved.

I cant beleive Zambrotta made that call. I understand Barcelona, money, prestige and blabla, but he would've been one of the all-time greats had he stayed. How's that for prestige. He would've still been going strong as captain now, had he stayed, i'm sure.

Great players, both Thuram and Zambrotta.
But they decided to leave for Barca for CL - blamed Juventus for the Calciopoli and shit. Narrow-minded, weren't like our legends who claimed they won the title on the field and thus decided to stay. Time was also ticking for Nedved, but he stayed, which underlined his greatness and affection Juve fans still show him. Not to mention all the other players like DP, Trez and Camoranesi: true legends in my mind. Thuram, Cannavaro, Zambro, Ibra and the likes can screw themselves.

Zambrotta was very overrated when he was with us. I am glad that rat abandoned us after calciopoli. I only missed him because we were severely lacking at his position for a couple of years and it's questionable if we would be any better with him as he went downhill fast. But by now I totally forgot about him.

Thuram on the other hand is a traitor but he is such a great player that I can't have hard feelings about him.

Seriously, I get why some dislike those players now. But questioning his quality back in the day is just silly. He was an amazing player for us and a great left back. I wish we had someone like him now.

He piggybacked rided on his great teammates and got exposed pretty badly in Barcelona. He was still a good player but overrated. For example very few rated Camoranesi as being great but imo he was always miles ahead Zambrotta as a footballer. I know they didn't play the same position but I am talking about how rated they were compared to their performance.

Thats just BS. He started to decline around 2005-2006, so it makes sense he didnt do well in Barca. But prior to that was the best at his position, closest competition bein Ashley Cole.

Ironically, it cut short his own career. He'd have had more longevity at Juve had he stayed.

Cannavaro and Zlatan are miles ahead of the other two. Neither of them ever spoke shit about the club, they always claimed we won those scudetti on the pitch - that too having spent less time with the club than those guys wi more integrity. I can completely understand thinking about your own career and wanting to move on and abandon ship, even though it was the team that made you who you are. But to speak shit after you leave?? Fuck that. Below the belt. Classless.

The decline and loss of form for me at least, had more to do with the constant adapting he had to do in a new league and style of play. Before moving back to Milan. I don't think the decline would've been as rapid had he stayed with Juve. Which is kinda ironic really. Glad we are back without him. Hopefully, he doesn't come here to promote a book like his needy friend.

Do you guys think Conte is gone for sure in 2014? The media seems to suggest that this is his last year in charge.

I recently started thinking about a replacement, but I couldn't think of many besides Prandelli or Deschamps and I think those two would be hard to get considering their contracts
