Made enquiries as to why Antonio Conte's ban wasn't reduced despite rejected evidence, here's what I know #JuveNews
1) The charges relating to Siena-Novara were dropped but the two sentences were running concurrently meaning he would need to be acquitted of both in order to see a change
2) Juve's legal team was able to prove Angelo Alessio had less chance of knowing what was unfolding & as such he has seen a reduction in his ban
3) Conte DID NOT solely chase a full acquittal, he - like Alessio - was also seeking a reduction due to the possibility of knowing a fix was being attempting being far more remote than the original trial believed.
4) Juve's legal team are far more confident of seeing TNAs reduce the suspensions as they are a completely independent body with no ties to FIGC or Pallazzi, meaning that by overturning a judgement they would not be undermining their own employees.
5) There is a remote possibility that Conte will see his ban suspended until the TNAs trial (to be heard in September) but Juve cautious of needing to restart it should the coach not be fully acquitted.
