I guess the logic here is that you'd rather trust the guy that has nothing to lose than the guys that have everything to lose. I wouldn't trust what they say either, they are saving their asses, not Conte's.

I just don't find what the other 24 guys say here as solid proof, forget about it. Concentrate on why Carobbio decided to involve Conte so late. You'd think mentioning what Conte allegedly did very early in the discussions with the police.
So if you don't trust the 24 other guys, why should we trust the testimony of one man, a man who is now pretty much a convicted match fixer, who is (most likely) implicating as many people as he can to reduce his own ban and to make a name for himself.

I just can't see how they can dismiss the evidence of a whole fucking team. Its absolutely mind boggling.

It's a lack of common Principles of Justice which should exist in every modern country and within any organisation that has a legal power.

It's absurd to read about this circus.

Indeed, these sporting tribunals are a fucking mess at the best of times in most "normal" countries, but in Italy, FFS its a fucking farce.

IMO Palazzi is making an example out of Conte. He is a high profile coach, and if he gets banned for not reporting match fixing, others will start reporting it as well.
They won't. In the words of William Shakespeare: [There's] Something is rotten in the state of Italy [Denmark].

16:30 - Il procuratore federale calca la mano con Pepe e Bonucci: Bellavista 9 mesi in continuazione; Belmonte 4 anni di squalifica; Bentivoglio 3 anni e 6 mesi; Bonucci 3 anni e sei mesi, Masiello S. 3 anni e 6 mesi; Pepe 1 anno

3 years 6 months for bonucci , 1 year for pepe , Palazzi :inter:

Palazzi's request for Bonucci's suspension (fixing one match) is more than all of Carobbio's many suspensions combined.

But there is no agenda, right?

Carobbio and Masiello, who fixed many matchs, both 26 month bans. Bonucci for allegedly 1? 42. Pepe for not reporting? 12
