Well, he does have a point. Even if Conte did say what Carobbrio says he did, nobody is stupid enough to admit it because that would lead to them putting themselves in trouble.
But shouldn't they already be in trouble? If Carobbrio tells the truth, then the 23 players should all be charged like Conte has been. It's saddens me to see how 'justice' works in Italy

So quitting the internet is your suggestion? :)

If a Juve legend is going to be banned for whatever amount of time, then another Juve legend who just recently received his coaching badges should step in

yeah but that would still mean he only trust one guy with no proof over 24+.
Yup.

Pretty much everyone, by now, knows fishy things happened. This Palazzi guy is obviously putting more trust in the guy who's confessing, than he is in the guys who claim to know nothing (and back up Conte).

That in itself makes sense to me. But it would also mean that, sooner or later, the people backing up Conte should be charged. And it's extremely quiet on that front...

Cannavaro apparently then? Are you being sarcastic or serious?

Was thinking Canna would do OK here in the mean time...then Agnelli could offer him a role with the club when Conte comes back...just a thought.

Chew on it for a while, taste it...savor it...and let me know what you think?

I guess the logic here is that you'd rather trust the guy that has nothing to lose than the guys that have everything to lose. I wouldn't trust what they say either, they are saving their asses, not Conte's.

I just don't find what the other 24 guys say here as solid proof, forget about it. Concentrate on why Carobbio decided to involve Conte so late. You'd think mentioning what Conte allegedly did very early in the discussions with the police.

According to Carrobio, they were at the alleged meeting. If they were there and Carrobio told the truth, why aren't they charged for failure to report as well?

Because they are looking for a scapegoat, which is Conte.

No.

Who is to say that Agnelli doesn't come up with a lie to involve the FIGC, for example:

Agnelli hits the media that Abete has asked Agnelli & Conte let certain teams draw for the good of the league. Agnelli can just start throwing names out of the sake of it like this guy is doing and you think the prosecuter Palazzi will discard Abete and his defense like he did to Contes? Hell no he wouldn't, he would accept anything the FIGC would say in an instant without thinking twice.

Ah. Should have known. :D
