Personally i m not scared to have a say, i m proud of my instincts, because i m usually right. (as history has proven time and time again)
And its not just intuition, i have the exp of decades of watching Juve's progress/performance and i have a huge amount of info available.
I do posses the ability to distance my self from positive thinking and make a cold, but objective assesment, no matter how painful it is, even if the matter affects my personally.
And many other reasons that give me the opportunity, to see and draw conclusions, younger/less exp ppl, dont...
I know Conte is not that stupid, he has always been cunning on and off the field, he has always been a realist, he cannot be that stupid to believe that he can win under these circumstances.
He invests on some media light and the chance to become a serie A coach in the long run. (not with us of course)
Instead of taking the challenge to earn this status with a team he has built, a team he has promoted in serie A and a team who was made competitive to stay there.
He prefers the easy solution, to become the next scapegoat of the agnelli, in a former prestigious club, that still holds some sentimental value in Italy. (but nonetheless, even ranking 7th, still ranks him ahead of any serie B coach)
He sets the bar so high, that any realistic goal would seem a failure, -> it is certain that he sees us as smth ephemeral, just the next step to his carrier.
He reminds me of some young and unproven models/actresses/singers that fall in a famous man bed and start gloating about marriage, (when they know they are just the girl of the weekend) just to gain that ephemeral media attention and raise their popularity, enough to help them make the next step... enough to ensure that the masses will remember their name...
We have seen it so many times, it is hardly a guess, it is rule that has been confirmed again and again, with rare exceptions.
DD refused to play the game of our owners, ferrara took the boat out of destruction and then foolishly stood for the ride, cause he never backed down from a challenge.
But Conte now, does is it on purpose, he has seen how the club acted and he is just taking advantage of the situation, for his personal interest alone and tries to present it like he is doing us a favor, although knowing that the lack of his exp and knowledge will further limit our already very limited chances.
Thats immoral IMO and disgraceful as a Juventino...imo...

I would have to disagree here Cron. I would say that Conte see's it as a chance to coach the team he loved and captained. Why would he say take a better coach because he'll bring Juve on the winning path? If a coach doesn't think he's good enough then he shouldn't be coach. He should bag groceries at his local market. He wants to bring his winning mentality, something we lacked since 2006. I don't see a problem with the balls and smiling when losing comments. I love these sort of comments. Now is he the right man for the job? I'm not sure he is. I always want an experienced coach, a winner, a guy that would make us play an attacking game.
We have a saying which I don't know how exactly to write in English, but basically it says that "the one that eats the pastry is not the fool, but the one that hands it to him"! Accusing Conte of being immoral and disgraceful for accepting a life time offer is actually an immoral act, just put yourself on his place and think about it! Plus your are the one that is constantly repeating that we are now a mediocre team, but all of sudden you are all against a mediocre coach, it makes no sense!
I have the guts to admit our position, i alone foretell that this was intention of our owners, simply reading the apparent signs of quantity over quality, lack of investment on competitive managers/directors, lack of investment on top quality players, short term low life priorities over strategical investments, acceptable compromises, like players of Moli as our starters, etc
The signs were many and they were there, our decline was steady and apparent, even when i wasnt around to point it out Andy and others did, with sound arguments.
But they were all ignored for the shake of wishfull thinking.
By ignoring our problem it will not go away, they never do, we need to identify it and do smth about it.
I feel it is my duty to keep pointing it out, so that everyone is one the same page.
Although i have accepted our situation, it does not means that i will tolerate it!
Yes we are following a wrong strategy as a club, a strategy destined to make us smaller and weaker, for this, i cannot do nothing about.
The only thing i can do though, is not biting the nail and accept it, i wont, never!
If every juventino accepts reality and demands for a change, our owners will be forced to deliver it or sell the club.
Since DD left, i told you the reason was that he had respect to Juve and he had the ambition to bring it back to gory, at least try for that.
But our owners had different agenda, they just want to milk our name, keep collecting the prestige of being Juve s owners and turn our club into a mediocre small time Italian club.

By the end of August last year, i knew our season was wasted, i had hopes that this time we will turn pages, but when the transfer market ended, i had no delusions.
Jack and other tried a crusade against me, like if i stop repeating that the season is over and we should focus at the next, it would change anything...
When DN was announced, i knew he would fail and i was hoping that we will learn for it and we will do better next time.

He wants to bring that mentality he had as a player and apply it here as a coach by stating he won't accept bullshit. Now did he show that yet as a coach in Serie A? No, he didn't but saying he's here for the wrong reasons I disagree completely. What's done is done so AGAIN we have to hope we get the players that will make a difference for this club just like some meelan players did for Allegri(who did well with Cagliari but hasn't showed a winning mentality).
Serie A is not like it used to be(thanks FUCKERS) and with the right players even with Conte we could win something soon.

Bench-wise, he is completely unproven of brining any time of winning mentality, to players of Aquilani's, Bonucci's, Krasic's caliber.
Only wishful thinking, past glory dreams and faulty equations can relate Conte to "winner mentality", but again, we need a coach, not a shrink...

And mark you do know, that we are bound to spend huge ammount of cash to buy the players we have own, or lose huge ammounts of cash to lose them.
