Really? With him at the helm we finished where? Why can't we judge Marotta now? Marotta had more experience than Secco had in the role but Secco did arguably a better job than him based on results. Our best player this season was a Secco acquisition. I'm in no way supporting Secco here (I've done that before ) but based on what we have in front of us, I see no reason why Marotta should be immune from criticism. Secco was criticized even when we ended 3rd and 2nd. So whoever blames Marotta has every right to do so, we finished 7th. No one is immune.

Ferrara and Ranieri, who I'd still say is a better pairing than Conte and Del Neri. I've always thought that Ferrara will make a fine coach. Okay, lets sell Trezeguet because he's old, but buy Toni because he's? World Champion? Let's sell Diego, move out Giovinco and get the likes of Martinez, Motta and Pepe? And oh, lets get Del Neri! We had our worst season of probably all time but lets give Marotta one more season before we criticize him. We should have given Del Neri one more season then.

I think that he will bring Marrone back with him.

I would prefer a cheap, 32 years old Fabio Brienza who plays in Serie B for Siena than Pepe. That says it all.

Brienza was their best player and it's not the first time that I see him play, he is better than Pepe.

So should we sign a 32 years old Brienza? Absolutely not, but it is not as ridiculous as signing Pepe for 7,5 M euros+the 2,5 M euros we already paid.
