You guys should just listen to me. I predicted we would suck under Ciro and that we shouldn't use that awful 4-3-1-2 and I was correct, I also predicted that Marotta's mercato was crap last season and I was also correct. Now I'm saying we'll be much better, just listen to me. :D

And oh, call me Nostradamus.

Any translation of his post match comments?
Conte: " Betis were better than us Phisically, generally italian teams suffer against spanish teams because they have strong possession of the ball. We must work hard, to obtain great results and achieve our objectives, it's true we made a lot of mistakes, but it's ok with me cause i'm the one who's always asking my players to play the ball. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. But when we did today we looked dangerous and presented some difficulties for Betis"

Watched the last 20 minutes of the Betis game. It was horrible. Krasic looked miserable, losing the ball every time he got it. Most of the Juve players were tense, with del piero pushing the goalkeeper, Iaquinta screaming at Krasic, Machisio arguing with the ref etc... Not sure what to gather from all this.

Not their fault, believe me.

We didn't work as a team, so it's only normal that the individuals looked bad.

Our forwards and midfielders need to press more, our pressing was non-existent, hence Betis always had the possession.

Oh and we should keep the ball on the ground instead of doing millions of long balls.

I personally think our pressure issue it's more about the defenders positioning (deep) than anything else. Ohh yes, the two central midfielders deep positiong too.

Plus, if we send one player to press alone, then it's just obvious that it won't work. We need to press as a unit, as a real team.
