I just do not understand how they want him to report an attempt to fix matches of the team he coaches and then the prosecutor would destroy all the work he has done over a season (promotion of Sienna) because this team included a couple of players who were trying to fix matches.

some members here are saying that accepting a plea bargain would destroy his career
what do you think of "reporting an attempts to fix matches of the team you are coaching from a career point of view"? would not this also enough to destroy his career. He did the right thing when sending the players who was fixing the games to the stands.

This kind of person ( Conte) is an honest man, and 100% he does not deserve it. If anyone puts himself in Conte's shoe at the time, he would probably do the same by not reporting match fixing (with no evidence) and also who ever have the balls to report it would think a million time before doing so. I myself would not report it as I would never destroy the work of group because of 2 or 3 bad members.

if and only if it was not Juve, probably Conte would not be facing all this.

Him accepting a plea bargain won't ruin his career. Especially since the charge against him is not for fixing. Unlike the fans, any potential employer will look at the whole picture and not scream cheater just because they feel like it.

So, siena games were fixed? looks like yes, they were but this not mean that siena and other teams will be sended to serie b, isn't it? only players and management of teams that involved in scomessopoli will be punished, so why the fuck juventus was sended in serie b 6 years ago for Moggi's sim cards ? fuckin' italian government, laws :sergio: vaffanculo

Maybe so. But that also means you are fine with the potential consequences, or should be fine with them at least.

That must be why there are dozens of people involved.

Many players have already received bans (Doni, anyone?). Hell, they even "robbed" Criscito of the most important few games of his life. Yet, in the eyes of us Juve fans, they're out to get us & only us.

I think the problem lies in how much Juve gets attention compared to Cristicio's and Doni's. Maybe the investigation and the FIGC are somewhat investigatin all parties the same, but the media are jumping mainly on us. That's why we get the impression that they are out to get us.

Media is doing a terrific job though, people here who don't fallow seria a at all are babbling how Juve are again involved in some shady business.

A country is an area geographically defined in order to closely mirror a group of people united by shared culture, history, and ethnicity known as a nation who have collectivised under an institutional (rule-based) arrangement known as state.

The FIGC is an institutional arrangement between private enterprise and private individual it is not and institutional arrangement between the state and the nation and hence cannot represent the 'country'.

Now crawl back under you rock Slav and leave the understanding to the educated and civilised.
