I feel really bad for Conte. Also this will further drag Juventus' name through the mud. I went on the foxsoccer webpage and just see a huge picture of Conte :(
Same in Malaysia. there is this newspaper called 'The Star', when we won scudetto there was a small article about Juve somewhere in the sides, and Today I saw huge article with pictures of Conte, Criticio and Mauri in front Page.

Italy gets a lot of flack around here, I guess it's because Juventus is in Italian league but a lot of the things said are unjustified and stereotypical.
Like any other country and like all other stereotypes often stupid and immature. But denying that there isn't a connection between the general level of corruption in Italy and this new match fixing scandal is turning the blind eye to the truth. All italians arent corrupt, but too many are. And you see it all over Italy from Berlusconi to the local mayor. The list I linked to earlier shows it very well. Not many developed countries are lower than Italy on that list.

all these Milan fans calling Juve cheats... while they were found guilty and initially demoted just like Juve only after appeal did they remain in serie A, how easily did they forget
who are they to call us cheats? their president or whatever hat he is wearing these days is arguably the biggest crook and in a country that invented the term maffia that is saying much, he has been more in court then Al Capone and only got out on technicallities, not a country in the world that wouldn't sentence him for life but what do they do? they make him president. I f*cking hate Milan and their fans, they are even to dumb to read an article on a dumbass site like goal
they would know Juventus has nothing to do with this scandal why can't they get that into their thick skull
they really piss me off, I want to hit somebody in the face and since there are no Milan or Inter fans around here anybody will do

I wonder what Lucky Luciano has to say about all this bullshit.

Note: I love it that we are too powerful on the pitch and the opposition has to use the media to "harm" us.

It just means Juve is back :D The most hated! The most loved!

Name me a top league that's as fucked up as Serie A and I'll tell you why. Argentina doesn't count.

Not our name. Conte's. Honestly if everyone is too stupid to read on and make the distinction than what difference does it make, so long as this time Conte's innocence holds up in court? Nada. I think a lot of people are wiser than you might think when it comes to the slander in the media, especially in an era where public crucifixion of people and brands via news paper headlines is an everyday occurrence. Populations grow weary of the media's tactics. I mean, who on here actually takes goal.com or IF articles seriously anymore? Our name being 'dragged through the mud' (in this case anyway) has no tangible bearing on the football club itself unless Conte is charged and found guilty in court. Papers and public opinion is irrelevant.
Public opinion is what got us relegated a few years ago, so I'm not sure how you can say that. The entire "story" was built up over many years (starting in the 90's), until there was enough backing.

This is obviously a different situation though.

25/2 2012: Conte says to Galliani: "sei la mafia del calcio" ("you're the mafia of football")
29/2 2012: Carobbio pops up out of nowhere and accuses Conte of being involved in calcioscommesse...

Reginaldo has denied that Conte asked them to play easy against any team, various Siena's player have done the same except for Carobbbio. Somebody is pushing this guy, and if Italian authorities do want to fix their game, then they need to come hard on those sitting on the background moving their puppets whenever they feel things aren't going their way.
