What a dork lol. Celebrating a coach getting to 50% success rate in getting out of CL group stage. 3 for 6. Much wow. Much impressed. :lol2:
also, like teams and groups are equal. tottenham had the easiest of groups and barely made it with the way more expensive squad. what a success

dingus lol, the reason why ignore lost was invented. there's not a single post you guys quote that isn't 100% cringe and wouldn't smell tired fart. proving idiotic points left and right, pavle 2.0 without the vocabulary

Its lovely to see the cult of @stitch, @moronic and @dai not in hiding anymore for their embarrassment of going all in and deep, in the throatfest of Allegri. We have now been through about 20 different explanations why Allegri isnt actually a fraud, and even this CL scudetto that he had over Conte, is now gone.

Imagine actually defending this fraud so fiercely, going in hiding and then slowly creeping back and acting all smug. Only these 3 species are able to pull that off.

Shame on you and shame on your master.

So Conte passed the group stage and suddenly its a great accomplishment  Those are pretty low standards you hold him to. His European record has been disastrous so far and nothing to brag about.

Gold. 2 finals, 2 QFs vs 1 QF so far and 3 group eliminations.

Key word here is almost. And he has such a long parade of humiliations now its clear the 2 CL runs were the fluke not the norm.
We can make a case that Allegri is past it based on the last 18 months of shitshow we have witnessed but this is just nonsensical.

He lets the hate get the better of him. Completely and utterly absurd claims.

His Chelsea got knocked out by Barca, and were not in the CL the year prior. And his Inter.....well its Inter.... but I agree he should have done better in the CL but you make it sound as if they were beasting the CL every year before he came along.

Fraud implies that he has a reputation for being a CL expert but is flopping... like you know who.
Same Barca that got eliminated by Roma. This was not the MSN Barca, but a vulnerable team. inter is inter is not an excuse, top team in Italy (or top 2 if you want to nitpick). Love how the excuses are always ready for Conte here

Making it to CL final twice is a fluke? In 3 years no less? You lose all credibility with nonsense like this.
He had credibility?

If it was these 2 years surrounded by solid runs before/after I'd grant the EuroMax CL Expert credentials. But once you look outside these 3 years you say a parade of humiliations and shameful exits.

You can call it a very short peak in an otherwise mediocre career, but definitely this guy doesn't go down as a CL expert in anyway. Its the equivalent of saying Juve are experts in the CL. We have the same record he does.

Allegri still has a much better record in the CL overall, Dingus
Not a high bar to top. Doesn't make him an expert.

Do you?

1st season = final
2nd season = knocked out by a very good Bayern in a very close battle, which we should have made through if Evra could kick the ball and the ref sent off Kimmich.
3rd season = final
4th season = knocked out by the winners Real harshly after an injury time penalty.
5th season = bad loss to Ajax, who had a very good season in the CL and unlucky not to make the final. We also had to play Rugani as CB. The squad wasn't good enough to go to the final that season.

I fully understand the criticism of Allegri now and he deserves to be fired. But the revisionism of his previous spell is laughable.

4th season isnt a failure but 5th season certainly a bad exit. We also had to play Rugani as CB is the best defense of the Ajax humiliation I have ever heard  We were outplayed home and away. Talk about revisionism. Wasn't that the year we lost to Young Boys and United and 2-0 to ATM but for a GOAT "the problem" hatrick?

And what happened to the 6th season and 7th season? What about his time before Juve did it have any miracles? 2010/11 his Milan got knocked out by the mighty Spurs.

Exceeded expectations twice but went below expectations many times as well. Not an expert. You can shit on Conte all you want but that doesnt change the fact that Euromax's CL credentials are lacking.

You clearly have memory gaps. We werent outplayed by Ajax at Amsterdam. Before Cancello made a brainfart we looked comfortable and looked like we would win the tie. Then injuries happened like so many times for the return leg. Ajax almost made it to the final that year so its not some random team that knocked us out, like Mura.

Milan were never favorites in that tie, they were on a downward spiral unlike Spurs. In the years that followed Milan spent the next 10 years reveling in mediocrity. You make it sound like Allegri was in charge of the all time great Millan side while in reality they had 36 yo Seedorf starting their games.

Watch someone start naming Milan players now, like they weren't all 47 years old

Dude I am not the one saying he is or was a CL expert like his record has been faultless up to now. I am just pointing his record is and was nothing special. From the get-go it had some low points not just good to great performances. Some good highs and some deep lows and lots in between.

That Milan was Serie A champions and finished 2nd the following year to Conte's undefeated Juve. Wasnt in free fall yet. That happened 2 years later.
