They signed Azpilicueta for 7m in 2012. He has been their starter for either RB or one of the 3 man defense for years now. He is precisely the type of player who we could do for the RB right now. Very good player, but cause he isnt flashy, gets unnoticed. So i wouldnt say that Chelsea cant buy cheap and good.

Most of the title winning squad from last season was brought in by her, while operating on a net spend of 87 million since taking over in 2013. But I'm not claiming that she's some super transfer master, you're the one accusing her of incompetence. And I see little justifictaion for that.

I found this above, I looked simply because I recall dinstinctively their being alot of talk of how Conte was pushing hard for Kante just soon as he was appointed. Morata too, man he must be happy he finally got Morata, he been pushing for him for like 4 years in 2 different clubs.
