No. What happens when Marotta sells Marrone? We're now missing two midfielders and we're what? Three days away from the deadline.

Conte is rightfully annoyed. It was clear he wanted Jovetic and we could afford 25 million but why wouldn't we pay it? Even more so now we've recouped what we've spent back.

I worry for the future of Juventus without Conte and press conferences like today show he won't stay for as long as we need him to.

So, in other words, they should be spending just for the sake of it?

And you know full well that Fiorentina would never, ever sell Jovetic to Juve for the amount that Man City paid. Not in a million years.

What a load of shit, get off the Jovetic thing. I am sure Conte isn't complaining that he got Tevez and Ogbonna. Giach will be replaced by Pepe and Marrone played as a CB all last year pretty much.

And one more thing in regards to this. Does anyone think that the ownership group at Juve would pull a bait-and-switch on Conte when they had this summit at the end of the season to determine what the future would be?

If he wants to be pissed off, be pissed off at the ownership group at Juve. You know, the ones who tell Marotta how much he can spend every year.

Be pissed off at the rest of the Serie A clubs who are at least a decade behind Juve's vision of the future of the league

Be pissed off at the Italian legislature for their archaic laws in regards to stadiums.

But yeah, I guess Marotta is the one who has to answer for all of that.

You are correct that that could leave Juve looking a little light in midfield, so I'll be interested to see if Juve do make a signing in the next couple of days.

However, I don't really see how Conte - or anyone else for that matter - can criticise what Juve have done this summer.

Pepe will be like a new signing. He could be great in Serie A too, if we might lack that drive occasionally since he didn't play for a year.

Marrone was CB. But I think we should still sign Nainggolan.

It's amazing how the topic of conversation has gone from the quality of the players brought aboard to complaining about how much was spent to acquire this talent.

Just amazing.

Maybe if they spent twice as much to get these players, people would feel a little better about this?

He was last season, but with the signing of Ogbonna I had him theoretically pencilled in as a midfielder for this season.

I think Juve look one player short just now - either a central midfielder or a left wingback to free Asamoah to play in the middle more.

:agree: I think looking at our options, Nainggolan seems the best option. I don't think Coentrao will be so cheap and I'm not sure RM will be so willing to sell him to us seeing that we've drawn them in the group stage.

You guys fail to understand that in 2011 we had a net debt of around 80-90 million, now if i am correct that is around 17 million right now. That is amazing progress in the last 2 years and on top of that we have beat every one in Italy 2 years in a row while keeping the clubs finances prioritised. To me that is a great job done and in maybe another 2-3 seasons we might be able to compete for top players. We cant just spend money we do not have we are not chelsea or Man City who do not care about finances.

Nobody can say 1 bad word about Conte, Agnelli or Marotta, if you offered this to me 2 years ago i would have grabbed it straight away we are not far away from being able to compete for big players so just have patience. Look at Milan and Merda we are so far ahead of them they wont catch up for such a long time. Merda need foreign investment now to try and get back to being a CL team because they are so far behind that puts a smile on my face i dont know about u guys.
